  • Here's a video of the TMG Industrial Flail mower. First, it works great. It acts like a wood chipper, lawn mower and stump grinder. Second, a cab on my tractor would be nice.... the dust this beast creates is crazy. Third: There are some issues, but they don't impact the operation of it.
    1) It needs to be fast hitch compatible. It's 2023 guys....
    2) The rubber guard on the back must be made of recycled cardboard. It is totally shredded in just a few hours.
    3) They need to put restrictors in the hydraulic lines. I hooked this up to my FEL hydraulic system, and it will launch the thing into the other county because it is so fast. Maybe if you use it on a Chinese tractor with no hydraulic flow it would work... but on an American Tractor built in America by Americans the hydraulic flow is too high.
Thanks for watching. The last ten minutes of this I do trail clearing with it, so skip ahead if that is all you want to see.

That really does a nice job. Doesn’t sound like the tractor is working hard at all.

Cedric, They suggest 30-60 HP. The 4400 is supposed to be 37 or so.
It has plenty of power for what I am doing. WRT rocks... there are not many rocks in this part of Maryland. Lots of sand and dirt though!!!

Could you raise it up a little for your first time through a new area?

You're doing a heck of a job and you showed exactly what I was interested in seeing.. thick overgrown vegetation with bushes and small trees. Does it look worth the money... heck yeah! I'd say your rubber guard couldn't take the pea gravel you kicked up. Maybe adjust the skids to raise the mower so it isn't plowing or use the tractor lift. Spoke too another guy said these things are capable of near finish mower results on lawns. Thanks for the video.
