The "Izzy's 👌 to Stede" lives in my head rent-free.
This made me realize that after “a curse is a curse, and when it takes hold, well, it…it takes hold” Izzy thought of something better and was fucking waiting dramatically posed to say it when Stede came in but Stede interrupted his whole planned performance of this very good theatrical sentence and that’s why he got annoyed
He'd prepared his grand Shakespearean hand gestures and everything. So rude of Stede to have no appreciation for the arts!
I also LOVE that at 4:18 Izzy started to draw his sword to protect Stede and then goes back to casually leaning against the door after he sees that his new friend had it handled.

I’m LIVING for the enemies-to-friends potential with Stede and Izzy this season. Seems like there’s finally some mutual respect between them!Con’s acting this season has been nothing short of stunning, so glad Izzy has been getting more time to shine :). I wouldn’t mind if he stayed bitter, but I’m hoping we get to see even a smidge of a relaxed/softer size of Izzy with the new crew.

I really do love how in season 1 they prob had the most unhealthy relationship, but now, they have one of the most healthy! I think its cause Izzy has lost his hatred, while also discovering his own self worth, and recognizing Stedes good intentions.
