That's a hoax, the SoundCloud account just posted this exact same audio file. If that person truly had access to the song they would post the full thing, without the cuts and with a better sound quality. They've also provided 0 proof that what they're saying is true. Plus, this is more subjective, but the accent is clearly not from Canada, otherwise the lyrics would be more intelligible. That same hoax SoundCloud states that it's a "pidgin version" which I don't buy at all because this also does not sound like pidgin, it just sounds like a non-native English speaker. Whomever sang this has been living in the United States for quite a while possibly their entire life with an Italian background. I'd say east coast

I might be wrong on this but it does sound like an early 2000's to 2010's music. This could also sound like a theme song for one of those high school nickelodeon shows that may have never seen the pinnacle of success like the executives hoped for. So instead they probably just scrapped the show and the pilot as a whole, abandoning this song and keeping it as an unreleased demo tape.
