I've recently started playing monster Hunter generations ultimate and I'm getting into the monster Hunter community and I really enjoy his videos too! I've already put about 80 hours into the game and it's been about 2 weeks x.x

Does anyone here know if the movie is any good? I'm currently reading brisingr and I still haven't decided whether I want to watch the movie on the first book since I feel that most movies ruin my image of the novels.
I was honestly wondering whether he actually was referring to the series before he actually called the series by it's full name. I didn't think that many people were into this series since everybody at my school makes jokes of my books. I guess the people at my school just dont like reading.
Marcos Guillen the movie pretty much sucks, the book is so detailed and full of character development, that the movie completely fails to even attempt to replicate. Everything feels so rushed, especially the fight against the shade and losing Brom

Also a tip for you Zanny if you see this, the little fellas with the red masks who disappear when large monsters are near, knock down a monster nearby where they disappear and they attack it. Also there is a thing called “Sleep Bombing” where when the monster goes to sleep, you put two mega barrel bombs by its face and set them both off with a powerful attack.

you are doing AMAZING at the game so far, so feel free to disregard all that i say if you've already learned it.
just a few tips,
Sonic bombs are amazing vs Diablos. When he digs underground (assuming he's not in rage mode (red eye on map)) then using a sonic bomb will knock him back up and it functions the same as if he was put into a trap.
When you capture a monster it will make a special arena quest from them. They show up from time to time and are amazing at farming materials
I recommend setting up a few item templates as well. When you are at your box click manage items, then you can push start and make an item template. Very helpful as you only need to remember everything you need once :p.
In high rank try and keep your weapon at least at green sharpness. Everything gets tougher hide and green sharpness is also the starting point of getting extra damage from sharpness
If you faint in a quest you can probably eat at the canteen again. You can eat there every 10 minutes. So don't skip those bonuses!
On the canteen note, those vouchers are fair game. you'll get a lot so use them freely but try to save a few for the harder quest so you can get the better skills. Also never for Def boost. Because of how defense works its just never worth it.
If you can't eat at the canteen cause it hasn't been 10 minutes yet then you can use a max potion. You can make them pretty easily and they will bring your current hp up to well...max.
At certain times throughout the story you'll need to collect "tracks". just go out on an expedition and run around till you have the tracks you need. its much faster, and you can kill area specific monsters faster as well (no load screens).
Again you are doing amazing, and I hope to see you continue to progress in a game I and so many others love so much
