Coach is absolutely correct about NIL. The mid majors are being poached by the big money schools every year. Make no mistake baseball programs like Coastal, Southern Miss and Louisiana are not really mid majors on the field but in their bank accounts they are. It hurts them more when these big Money schools buy their best players from under them because they really do have a real shot at going to Omaha and winning a championship. Especially after they develop the talent to get them there just to loose them to the like likes of Florida as Southern Miss did a couple of years ago with one of their top pitchers.
