A question - when you sing such chhaya raags, do you keep only the compound in mind, or do you also keep the raags from which the constituent phrases of the compound are drawn, in mind? Is it the same mental process that you follow for jod raags as well, or are you more conscious of the component raags while singing jod raags? Last but not least, thanks a ton for the series!!
Superbly explained , demonstrated - Manjiri tai !👍 One question , do such ragas have a prominent shade of a particular raga ? Like .. I thought in this raga Durga is prominent .. may not be a right observation , though .. Secondly , do we still have concepts of vadi , sanvadi in such shade ragas ? Judging by the Sahitya, this bandish seems to be a 'ranga prasa' Dhrupad who's vaggeyakara is Nayak Baiju.
