So far, he has gained no respect for what he’s done in the playoffs.
Compare that to Jokic’s playoff resume, multiple 3-1 comebacks, buzzer beaters, clutch shots, triple doubles etc.

To be so not athletic, as black people love to boast, but still killing everybody in an athletic af game, deserves more talk than a guy who has never lived up to his potential in his most important games. I thought wisdom came through suffering. Imagine Joker. Imagine his experience. He’s being discriminated against bc of what he looks like in a foreign country by people who have been discriminated against bc of what they look like. That’s child-like maturity, mate. Some fun Joel Embiid playoff facts:
The best team he's beaten in the playoffs is the 2022 5th seed Raptors led by Siakam and FVV
He averages 22 PPG on 49.2% TS in elimination games(a 9 game sample size)
In NO playoff run has he ever averaged more assists than turnovers
He is the ONLY MVP in league history to never make the conference finals
This year, he had the biggest PPG drop from the RS to the playoffs of any MVP winning season
He turned the ball over 8 times in back to back elimination games against the Hawks in 2021
He's shot under 20% from three over his last two playoff runs
He had a worse eFG% than Russell Westbrook during the 2023 playoffs
With a chance to go up 3-1, Joel Embiid went 0-12 in the second half against the 5 seeded Hawks in game 4, including missing a wide open layup to take the lead
He got stripped by Danilo Gallnari to seal the loss in game 7
Down 3 in game 5 of the same series with 15 seconds left, he missed BOTH free throws to seal the game
All of his offensive numbers(PPG, RPG, APG, TOs, FG%, 3P%, FT%) are worse in the playoffs than in the regular season aside from FT%
He has only won ONE playoff series in his career where he played in all four wins(2022 vs. Toronto)
He is 0-3 in game 7s and has posted a 49% TS and 5.3 TOs a game in those 3 games
He once got swept in a series despite averaging FIFTEEN free throws per game(2020 vs. Boston)
Over the last two seasons, he has a 9.2 BPM in the regular season(box plus minus) and a 1.0 BPM in the playoffs
WORST OF ALL: HE IS 9/38 IN CLUTCH(within 5 points, last 5 minutes by NBA definition) SITUATIONS DURING HIS PLAYOFF CAREER, WITH AN UNFATHOMABLE TS% of 35.7%

This is when stats don't mean shit, Embiid is literally padding, and has most of his points coming off free throws. It's the same thing Russ was doing in OKC, they were shit and losing, but the entire teams focus was to get Westbrook his stats, and he got the MVP. That year it made more sense, since there really wasn't too many good options other then Russ and Harden, but as far as Embiids MVP - nah, it's literally stat padding and refs giving him every single call. He's so freaking talented, there's no denying that, but he just isn't mentally mature or near the level of Jokic, just compare their interviews, and you'll quickly understand why one is bringing winning to his team, while the other makes his team worse when he steps on the floor (Philly has a better record without Embiid playing btw)

It doesn't matter if your more talented if you have never performed like a superstar in the playoffs. His stats always see a decline, doesn't play like a superstar that we see in the regular season and that's the major reason why they haven't won anything

All I have to say is that there's a reason there is a scoring title and an MVP. One is for scoring and one is for someone who is the most valuable player. Embid is a gifted scorer but also takes tons of shots and free throws a night. Jokic scores at will and makes his whole team better. Jokic is clearly the most valuable to his team. Not to mention Nuggets are currently tied for number 1 in the west which is inarguably the best division this year with new contenders popping up.

There’s a difference, joker doesn’t press for anything. He just knows how to win

Hey Stephen, the minute you start with, "the brother,
    " Jokic's accomplishments are devalued.
You're biased, my brother. From a black person

Jokic makes his teammates better and we all see that Embiid blames his teammates when he's the one who's to blame and we all see that.

If embiid won a ring and joker didn’t this wouldn’t even be a segment because you guys love Joel so much.

stephen "as a black man" smith was caught on live tv saying jokic dosent have a defined post game and then was obviously proven wrong by his host by the numbers so how can we ever expect him to have a bias and informed discussion as to whose a better player he'll always choose joel even if the evidence shows other wise ... lots of people get the privilege to talk sports and get paid millions for it that shouldn't and this guy = one of them

if you're gonna talk shit about jokic, bringing up his post game is one of the worst ideas you can come up with
