Great Advice backed up by solid experiences.💯
Overall the video was about kirat regretting selling stocks early (i.e. NVIDIA)
I feel like when i try to comprehend things i come to exactly same conclusions as harkirat, just the difference is that harkirat has a lot of experience is able to connect through the dots, while me being a fresher is able to understand only in the narrow sense. Its hard to explain this type of feeling in words.
don't😂
Every software engineer at nvidia working there from 10 years is a millionaire 😮
If tgey leave still can they hold stokes that they have invested?
@@leodexter191 yes obviously
Working in a service based company, 2 years now didn't realise when time passed away. Dev skills not upto the mark, feel super down most of the times but trying my best to learn as much as I can little by little everyday. Hopefully things are much better after few months from now 🙏
Video quality looks very good and nice concept - Key takeaway, very clean edit
I'm in my 20's and i started feeling imposter syndrome
What does that mean
@@Rohit-rx5rz Even though you have learned and improved with time, you still feel that you are not good enough.
Same :)
@@WaqarAhmed-nd9jdwhat happened?
@@WaqarAhmed-nd9jd That's why you need mentor or guide to validate you. Imposter syndrome is the biggest con of self learning.
he said initial package doesn't matter and then proceed to give an example in which his friends got 30 lpa. the delusion is real
He compared two of his friends.
One of them earning 30K INR initially earns 80 lakhs per month.
While the other who started at 30lpa is at 60 lakhs per month.
oh I see , my bad I misunderstood @@ashutoshshukla5362
U misunderstood because ur brain is always finding mistakes in others statements but u dont know you are mistake 😂@@themayomonster.
Joining and staying at such companies is like hitting a lottery. The startup I joined post my graduation went down under long back. On a side note a classmate who joined nvidia around the same time you are quoting is now super rich and has a 17 million home in atherton and a fractional private jet membership.

Thanks Harikrat for making this video, this really helped me a lot in making a decision and the insights you shared from your experience are invaulable !!
Thanks Harkirat! It was valuable!
Love this type of content that help students with no mentors or network
I really appreciate Harkirat, the kind of insights you provide for the IT industry and the growth perspective you share are really helpful. 🔥
This video gave me more motivation than any other. I have a package of 4.5 LPA from Accenture and not getting any other good opportunity. Most of the time I felt like giving up. But after this video especially 1point, I keep learning, growing, and applying. let's see where would i be after 1 year.

Bro these are the Golden words that mostly people don't like to tell anyone. You are our Rare GEM. Thank You.
Thanks a ton!
Thanks a lot, Harkirat 🙏
Loved the naval inspired tidbits
To me you are like the one beauty with brain thing that you try to make us aware of the trend of industry and also you are a very good developer and providing this knowledge through your cohorts
Thanks a lot Hakirat this provides very practical value and is perfect advice for where we are right now in the current time stream of tech
success in life is a random game of luck
Been in the industry for more than a Decade. There are a lot of fields that are NOT dependent on how much you can increase your TECH STACK. That being said, it is always good to expand your horizon. However, It is not necessary that if your proficiency/competency does not flood into extra programming languages, you will be erased out of the market. A lot of us have the urge of learning all the languages that are out there in the market.
. Unless you are Margaret Elaine Hamilton, nobody is going to remember how many tech stacks you learnt or how many opensources you understood by pulling all nighter. There is no end of learning...take a time out, take a breather!! Learn smart, don't spend time on learning everything!!
Actual developer thing ❤
I made that mistake and i regret it. It's worthless to acquire new skills every month as you will eventually forget things if you don't use that stack. Although it's easy for you to catch up when you need it but still in today's AI era you can do it easily when you really need those skills
So what do you guys suggest? Focusing on one thing?

Kam bhi hoga bro it’s human nature haha
Don't you think point 6 and 7 that you explained contradict each other.
6 says knowing different tech stack will keeps you updated
7 says sticking to one compounds over time rather than lurking around and trying to learn little bit of everything.
Explain me if I am wrong
Obviously it contradicts each other.
He thinks he has got it all figured out.
Let me tell you, this guy had the right mindset and was lucky.
He started looking for remote gigs in 2020, was open to learn new technology like web3.
He got good remote jobs in web3. Remote became the norm due to corona.
Obviously he worked super hard for it. But the thing is, there was a lot of luck involved as well.
He met the right people, learnt the right technology, got on the hype train at the right time.
Don't think about the points he is giving too much.
There is one important point he didn't mention, which was also one of the biggest reason for his so called "success".
It is being proactive. You should be proactive.
Take those initiatives. Go and talk to the smartest guy you know and take their inputs.
Go out there and message that google engineer about some project you are working.
Share your projects on linkedin. Tag senior architects and ask them about their opinion on it.
Learn new technologies. Diversify your knowledge.
Don't think.
Just Do.
And keep on doing. If you are "lucky" you might make lot of money but even if you are not, you will still end up making some good money.
Let me tell, you don't need a lot of money to be happy. Income beyond 1-2L is literally useless. Lot of people are living very happily in their village at 30k/month salary with their family. They are eating good food, enjoying great family time and playing with their friends.
That is much better than getting 1 lac in some other city where YOU are not happy.
It is literally completely ok to be a PHP developer and host your own websites on hostinger. Heck, it is even OK to just be a Wordpress developer.
Anyways rant over. In summary, just do whatever you want and make sure you are having fun. Try to play the long game, don't focus immediately on money but what kind of life you want.
I literally saw a guy on LinkedIn who most probably comes from a very humble background. He made drones won some competition, started his company, closed it to pursue fking beatboxing. Figured it won't work out, so he did BCA and now current ly working remote for a UK based org. most probably earning same as people in IITs.
Take what you want out this post or this video for that matter.
Ultimately life is all about taking initiatives and luck.
He does not know shit, i don't know shit. We are all trying to do our best and survive. Don't let others influence your brain. Just have fun and figure out the journey that is life.
thanks a lot sir

Hey, great video! I am still a student and will be joining the workforce this August. I was wondering what financial literacy i should have. Is there any CZcams video regarding that? Thanks
One doubt is there , In cohort 1 the( subtitles/cc. ) option is available or not ?
harkirat bhai when will the web3 cohort be announced??
Thanks bro
A friend of mine held paypal stocks for close to 7 years and he is still not break even, considering inflation, he would have lost close to half of his money, not including the stocks he got during the peek
Thankyou
As Steve Jobs said you can only connect the dots looking backwards.
Bhaiya when cohort 3.0 will start pls leave a reply 🙏😊
Is there any prerequisite for cohort 2 0-100 please tell me.
For health I would recommend reading a great book called Outlive by Peter Attia. He mentions and talks about most of what you need to live a healthy life. It's the 80/20 rule when it comes to learning about health.
does that really mean that person has to be an employee at Nvidia till 2024 or he would have those stocks even if he leaves Nvidia ?
just asking for curiosity
Please make video on career after mba

Downloaded the video in case you delete it🤧. But i wanted to ask whether going for AIML is a good choice in 2024 especially if you are going to study it in a college which falls between Tier 2-3.
One disagreement: You don't stop learning when you're working. In fact, you probably learn more while working than while studying at university.
Should we learn java in 2024 ?
Hello @Harkirat Singh , i am doing masters and now i have time because the collage exam is done and i have time during summer internship so should i Buy your course or are you planning on some new courses , can you please give suggestion what to do?
