Hello Sue. I believe there are no coincidences in our lives and your first example show it. With me also happened a similar situation. Most of my life I always lived in my parents house. When I was 38 I finally moved on with a man I meet. It was about 80km away and it was in a very small village. I love coffee and one day I went to one of the cafés and meet a lady, the owner, about 10 years older than me . We instantly had a connection and i found out that she owned for 6 months a restaurant about 100m from my parents house. But I never meet her there. She was a marvellous friend and she gave me so many good advices and i could rely on her to tell her my problems. I had a very hard time during the 3 years I lived there, it was a small community and everyone wanted to know other's lives. I wasn't used to it. Your second example is so sad 😔 it reminds me when for instance parents treat differently their children. I love your teaching. With examples from real world it's so much easier to understand.
