    I’m liking how much reference you make to the science of their behaviour, such as the wither scratches to calm them down and developing the proprioception in young horses. Is this something that’s common in Equestrian’s you’ve learned from? Or is that mostly a result of your study?

    She is so nice and calm! It's funny to see how she is so well behaved compared to the old(er) horses I have come across all these years. Aren't you afraid though, when riding in the barn, that she will make a sudden movement and you fall off? She's young after all. Stay safe and healthy!!!

    Fernie is so cool (accepting of the bit, your weight, the side reins and esp the floppy stirrups). I'm just curious you are putting the work in to her now to get her used to your weight etc but then you are sending her to pasture. She's three right? So she would be able to do some work, basic stuff but that's better then zilch. I get your positioning on sending her to pasture but her growth shouldn't change that much correct? Absolutely awesome to see Booba and Zizi doing well in the paddock together. Does G go out with them as well? Can't wait to see what Fernie has to offer. I really like her working attitude! Way to go team B and L, you need to have someone with a T and then you would be the perfect sammich!!

  • @hopesup_heelsdown3769
    @hopesup_heelsdown3769 Před 4 lety

    when I start colts I don't actually start them in bridles, I start then just in a halter, I do it that way because that way im not introducing too much at one time so id like to ask why do you start horses with a bridle? no hate im just genuinely curious

    • @EddiesGun91
      @EddiesGun91 Před 4 lety +2

      Hopesup_heelsdown it’s just the way we do it.. I always like that the horse understands how to work in a correct frame to encourage correct movement and use of the body 😄 so they can carry the riders weight correctly
