My wife and I just watched your seat lock post, and she felt that I needed to have one on my bike as well!.... So I went to Volunteer Audio, and ordered the chrome lock for my Road King,... and I mentioned Riding and Wrenching in the order notes! Darn it Cue!... I'm getting in a pattern of spending money on good cool things I need when I view your posts!.. LOL... THANKS AGAIN!... Howard...
@RidingandWrenching Up early, having coffee,... thinking about things, you know it's way less expensive to purchase that, "Ounce of Prevention" than it is to lose a custom seat, a battery, and electronic modules!..plus feeling violated!.... and i believe guys our age spend less money trying to do things right the first time! So there you are.... Thanks Cue!
I like the information & vid. Looked up the locks & they look real nice, but I can't justify that cost right now. Might see if they have a bolt that's anti-tamper torx or something for the time being.
Welcome to the Harley team! Be prepared to spend a bunch of money! My friends tried to warm me but buying accessories becomes irresistible. I find that I don't have as much time to work on my Mustang. I've had it for about 15 years. It's in pretty good shape, just needs a little attention!
Just found your channel, thanks for this! I've always worried about that phillips screw being the only thing between a thief and the loss of my $700 seat - I'm gonna go check this out! Peace!
I've got a lot of money on my seat! It would really hurt if someone stole it. I only worry when I have to park at a hotel. My bikes are garage queens....except when I'm on the road
Well, I've seen surveillance photos of people stealing tour packs off of bikes, and they take more work then the seat. So it's not out of the realm of possibility. Personally I never leave my bike unattended in sketchy places, but it can happen anywhere.

That's awesome! This is an expensive hobby!
@RidingandWrenching It sure can be!... I'll be all set for my roadtrip in June...see you down the road!

Good info Cue!!!!!
This is a great investment i have one
Thanks for the video, I’ve always worried about my seat being stolen parking overnight at a hotel.
Glad it was helpful!
When you think about it.. Harley has a lot of weak points when it comes down to stealing or damaging the bike. Great vid
Thanks bro. You'd like to think people wouldn't steal your seat, but you never know!
Nice lil device👍🏿
awesome video
Thanks!
Just run across your channel, wow thanks for the info!
Thanks!
Great information, I will have to invest in one! Thanks and God Bless!
Glad it was helpful!

That's a good idea too. Anything to provide a little more security is helpful
Cool product! New Harley owner, just came across your channel. Nice 66 Mustang back there, I've got one too that's a work in progress.

@@RidingandWrenching Thanks! I've already picked up some overtime to buy some extra goodies for the bike.😄
Great world we live in. Where everything is a target.
It's sad, but you can't run from reality
Been riding for over 50 years NEVER had a seat stolen.
Thanks for the product info/review. Nice piece to add for security.
I've never seen that lock before. Thanks for sharing. Ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Thanks, you too!
What a great idea!
Another great tip for folks. To replace a custom seat is minimum $500. Gone in 30 seconds. Great job Cue!
custom seats are not cheap!
pretty cool product, thanks for sharing. Godspeed
As always another great video! Great job Cue!
I like this better than the one I have….. nice!
Another nifty little tool to use. 👍
It sure is!

Forgot to ask a minute ago,... what was the turnaround time once you ordered the lock?
Thanks!
I can't remember, but I'm sure it won't be too long. Volunteer Audio is pretty good with customer service
Better put a little blue lock tight on that so it won't vibrate out I like it though bro thanks ✊🏾💯
Awesome!!! Thank you. Are you retired Navy? I'm an active duty CWO in the Coast Guard.
I didn't retire....wish that I had. I was in the Navy for 6 years.
@@RidingandWrenching that’s awesome!!! Always great to meet another veteran.
@@RidingandWrenching Thank you for your service!
Is this really a problem that needs fixing?
insurance only

My buddy got his shifter and seat stolen. Kinda seemed like someone wanted to keep the bike there so they could steal it later
@@johngalt3759 Maybe lock plyers could get him home? I also worry of the chrome gas cap on my new HD.
dang! stolen shifter!
what kind of seat is on the rg
That is a custom Harley Hammock seat. I took it to an upholstery shop and had it recovered
Cool product, but $77 cool? I don't know.
Less expensive than a new seat
An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure
