Love when you take us exploring and discovering new spots especially its just right under our noses. JB's cafe scene really incredible these last few years. Most of them pretty good.

Well, seems like after COVID, there's a new wave of cafes and businesses kicking into gear and rightly so. For consumers, it's a good thing.

Yup, pretty unique and unusual. Considering the shop lots are pretty old so I guess it does add some character to it. Cheers mate.

@@BreakawayBitesWhen in Kluang, visit Kluang Coffee Powder Factory and bring some coffee beans or powder home, especially the Liberica beans, which accounts for less than 2% of the world's commercially-grown coffee.

Nice video.. like to follow ur makan videos.
Now all these cafes/ so-called kopitiam charges 10% service charge + 6% SST or 8%.. Especially alot of Singaporeans go KSL and keep shouting cheap cheap cheap, making the restaurants & cafes & kopitiams (especially inside KSL) charges ridiculous high prices for simple things like nasi lemak & keep increasing prices, at the same time adding all sorts of extra charges.
They don't even serve ice water or provide whatever wow service, and yet charges so many add-on charges. I rather they ding ding ding, i collect my food and do away with the many add-on charges.
KSL area too crowded with Singaporeans. So, I'm avoiding.

Well, can't be helped. JB is so much different now, and the feeling i get , more Singaporeans are coming here since the borders re-opened. The value of thje currency plays a part, even more services & attractions, cafes , food, spa ,everything has flourished. JB has improved and will continue to do so.

Can go check out Kluang, Johor? Please. Looks like a charming sleepy town.

The Gemas-Johor Bahru electrified double-tracking rail project (Gemas-JB EDTP) is projected to be completed by 2025. Next time Singaporeans can easily take electric train from JB Sentral to Kluang to sip the famous coffee.

Actually, we are planning to make a trip there soon. Haven't been there for a very long time. Will be interesting to see how much Kluang has changed, but i don't think it's sleepy town anymore.

At Kluang, The Kopi Factory cafe, just besides the sales department, offers visitors the convenience of tasting the factory-produced coffee with some light bites.
