Which is not right, all skin tones are beautiful. Equally, very pale skin tones in some cultures are considered undesirable but less so than darker skin tones making fake tan less controversial. edit: I personally find white pale skin beautiful, I'm tanned myself. I'm not racist, it's just a preference which is subject to change depending on who I'm looking at. The important thing is regardless of color of skin, everyoen can look beautiful so long as they're striving to the best version of themselves, healthy and so on. However, Korea is a looks based society and everyone knows this. You will be discriminated based off how you look and unfortunatly hacks like this with the rice water are for that reason attractive to many because of Korea's specific societal pressures.

White rice make your skin breakout, white rice is a high glycemic food which can cause an insulin spike that’s why diabetic people don’t eat regularly any kind of rice and you will be prone to acne same as you are eating with chocolates and sodas. And I testify it because I’m acne prone however it’s ok if you’re not really have an acne prone skin, still just use on moderation especially rice.
