Had the pleasure of seeing Death Cab perform this live in Calgary. Hearing over 20000 people sing every word of this entire song in unison will sit with me forever.

Such a powerful song, that really is quite personal to me. I lost my uncle to suicide a few years back and this song always reminds me of him. He was more like a best mate than an uncle. You covered it beautifully. Thank you for doing this.

It’s rare that you find somebody to put so much emotion into it being a good song with a good singer that’s pretty average every day but when you put this much emotion and feeling into the song it just makes it go into your heart. It’s beautiful to see you be so All in for the emotions of the song. You bring all of the music you sing to life. No one else does it like this.

Never heard the original of this, so I came to it cold. I was truly captured. Great orchestration only lifted higher such heartfelt singing I was holding my breath as my own heart ached. I struggle to find the words to compliment this performance. Sublime, brilliant, and achingly beautiful in equal measure without any exaggeration. My highest compliments and sincerest gratitude for this.
