I ran away from everything.. but the baggage I’ve carried eventually caught up. Due to mental health issues I’ve had to make my way back home.. home that was broken since the very start. To me this song feels like the feelings passing through my body at the time of my return. Broken. Lost. It’s been close to a decade and while I’ve learned to live and settle in this old reality, I never learned to let go.
