Great stuff. I’ve played for decades, but been plateaued at the intermediate level. Actually, now being in my late 50s, I feel like I’ve back slid a bit. And by that I mean, my fingers don’t always go smoothly to where I want them, now, and I’ve forgotten dozens of songs. These videos are quite helpful, especially when you mention some new learning techniques. Thanks.

Everlong is my favorite song period, but I actually do prefer playing that one electric with my band as opposed to solo acoustic. My favorite acoustic song to play is Name by Goo Goo Dolls. I legit bought a third acoustic guitar so I could replace the G and B strings to get the correct DAEAEE tuning, and designate that guitar for that one song. That tuning sounds so good even on my cheapo Dean acoustic, and it's really fun to play once you have it down.
