- This time I have visited 3 villas in Hideout, gorgeous bamboo villas located in Sidemen, Bali. Hideout's aim always was, and always will be - to provide an adventurous and family place to stay in rural parts of Bali. To experience the old Bali, it's traditions and values. To hike and seek and wonder and reconnect with nature (and little bit of the wildlife as well). Hideout won as the 4th most wished Airbnb accommodation 2 times in 2019 and 2020.

I would not pay that kind of money to spend my vacation in a bamboo structure like that in the company of mosquitoes and bugs , and the place is closed off by the usual boring vegetation and banana plants which can hardly be called a view while the lack of openness makes the place feel damp.
