cyclopsjrg I think George Lucas screwed himself with the midichlorians idea. First, the idea in phantom menace was that someone is born with the "Gene of the force", but then somewhere through the series it changed, and someone like Rey, who's an unknown, mysteriously has the force. Inconsistent idea in my opinion.

Rey can pilot ships because she trained herself on Jakku using simulators. The reason Rey can use the force without training is her force connection with Ben. She basically absorbed his skills in The force awakens. We also get to see an interesting evolution of her dynamic with Ben. She bests him in the force awakens because he’s injured physically and mentally as well as wants to teach her rather than kill her. However in the last Jedi, when they’re both trying to call the legacy saber to them, they’re equally matched. The story team has confirmed that Rey and Ben are each other’s equals. They are literally yin and yang. For some reason, that makes me happy to an unreasonable extent.

I loved The Last Jedi, but I love more is people who DON’T love The Last Jedi who can tell you concisely and respectfully WHY they didn’t love it, and the reasons don’t have anything to do with diversity. I respect that. It wasn’t a perfect film(but I loved it anyway lol) This was a great asmr, you should do more artbook episodes, you’re absolutely wonderful at them and the sounds are to die for.

Most of the droids in Star Wars are some of my favorite designs in Star Wars. I especially love the B1 and B2 battle droids for there simple yet pretty badass designs... Also the B1 Battle Droids are derby which is relatable
I've always LOVED the Dwarf Spider Droid and Droidekas. They're so badass. Then again, every design in the prequels is badass hahah

What’s interesting about how Rey and Ben ended up on opposite sides again after they fought together, is that neither of them were ready to compromise. They were both operating under the assumption that the other would turn to their respective sides. Ben had been tortured by Snoke for most of his adult and teen life. He’s had no time to process that his abuser is dead now. Rey is naive to expect him to turn after such a sudden shock. She also betrayed him in his eyes when she all but ordered Ben to save the resistance. Ben wasn’t even aware that his mother had survived, which adds another layer to his unwillingness to save the very thing that he felt caused his parents to send him away to Luke.
I’d like to say more but I’m slightly sedated from watching this video. I think I’ll continue XD.

Star Wars is too new. Disney is replacing things for no other reason than to change them. Like Twi'leks. They used to be all over the place, from Senate meetings to dive bars, but I haven't seen a single one in the new star wars trilogy. Not like Twi'leks matter that much, but it's just one of the many things that have been thrown out to make room for whatever forgettable things Disney wants to shove in.
Exactly. At Canto Bight I atleast expected to see a Bith at the bare minimum, but no. Twi'leks, Rodians, Bith, and all those other memorable races are basically thrown out the window.
