My grandpa died 17 years ago yesterday but luckily he was at home, my dad died in the hospital all alone, wish I could have said I loved him one last time.

No one could ever understand what it’s like to lose someone you are close to & love until it happens to you. I can relate to this family . I lost my 12 yr old daughter & my grandfather that I looked up to as my father. The grief is unimaginable. Especially the loss of my child . I can’t even describe the pain into words. My daughter died in 2007 & I still cry for her at least a few times a week . I think of her daily & I still make mistakes & call her name when I’m calling out to one of my other children. I will die grieving for her. I’ve excepted that fact. I devote my life to my family & I try to be the best human being I can be in this life. I pray to God daily for peace & guidance and I hope one day I’m worthy enough to be with my daughter again. 🙏🏼

My heart is with the family and the grandsons. We had a similar time with my 92 year old mom. She died the day after Christmas surrounded by her family. Some of us choked our way through singing Christmas songs to her. She showed the very slightest smile.

He has Sclerosis of the liver, my second grandpa died from cancer back in 2002 when I was 22. I lost my grandma from Leukemia last year in 2019 in August her 1 year death Is coming up and as I write this I cry😢 My heart is so sad for you too! This is exactly the way my father left this world when I was just a very young man sitting holding his hand and singing to him. This young man will remember this moment for the rest of his life. I begged my dad to let me go visit my Grandad before he passed ... My dad refused. He knew how hard it would be on me. My Grandad was my world, my best friend and my mentor. He was a pastor for most of his life until his health worsened. The last time I saw him alive was at his wife's ( my Nana's funeral) 6 months prior. Nana left this world on 2/24/14 and Grandad left this world on 8/12/14 not even 6 months apart. Grandad was a man of faith. God came first , then family, then everyone else. He was selfless. I miss him greatly but, the reunion will be even sweeter. I can't wait to run up and hold him in my arms in heaven. Bless your family and my heart goes out to you. What a beautiful memory. May it bring peace to your heart to know that he is sitting at Gods feet. He is being taken care of by the angels and his pain is no more.

My mother, my daughter and I sang Amazing Grace at my 2.5 months old grandsons funeral...I sang for my mother’s final two days as I sat by her bed and told her I loved her as she took her last breath...these were two of the hardest things I have ever done. Knowing just how hard it is, I commend these young men for loving their Grampa enough to do this for him🙏

My little grandmother died peacefully at home in her bed surrounded by all of her kids and grandkids. It was a blessing to see how happy and peaceful she was knowing we were all there to see her out of this world. I firmly believe my grandfather was there to see her cross over Into Heaven. This brings me back to when my dad passed away in my home in 2008 I sat and held his hand everyday and sang hymns to him. The day before he passed he kept reaching up to the ceiling and telling me he was there to get him and I knew he was talking about Jesus. It broke my heart to tel him it was ok to for him to leave me. I asked him to take care of my baby who passed away shortly after his birth in 1993 I said you take care of him until I can get home with all of you. His bone cancer only gave him 2 weeks of life after his diagnosis and I thank God I got to spend the time with him preparing him for his homecoming.

I was unable to sit next to my sister when she passed in July 2020. Thank God, I was able to speak with her the day before. I had to sing a solo at the service but my voice began to give out. Even though you know they've been given a certain amount of time, you still don't want your loved was to go. Thank goodness God gave us memories. Our loved ones may not be here in the flesh but they will always be in our MEMORIES.

I sat and watched my mother in law pass on from this life! I thank God that I was able to be by her bed side at her home going. For almost 7 day's she laid in her hospital bed unconscious! Right before good Friday! My mother in law had a stroke a few years before she passed. She could not use her right side here is my testimony of God's glory! In the end of not saying a word for almost a week. Her organs had started to shut down her temperature was a 104, right before she took her last breath she opened her eyes! Looked up in to the corner in the ceiling. And she started talking to someone as if they was asking her questions and she was answering them. My lord when she left this life I remember seating by her bedside holding her hand the hand that was balled up from her stroke. I was able to open up her hand and move her fingers as if she had never had a stroke! We all will leave this place one day and in that moment I truly realized there is life ever lasting if you truly believe in our lord and savior 🙏.
When families gather to say goodbye to their family members, in my opinion, it bonds them. This is an honor, to be there as they departure from the physical form. Thank you for sharing.
It is a blessing to share the last moments of life with a loved one. I was there when my momma died. Her last word was my name, Jan, and she had not spoken for 2 weeks. It was hard but I have that precious memory no one else has.

I buried my mom on the 30/11/2019😭😭 and me my siblings, her aunts from mother's side, uncle's sang and prayed on her death bed. Till today this hour tears roll daily and having to have the first Christmas, New year without her was so painful. And now with this Easter without her, not being able to go to church (catholic) being on lockdown (Namibia) is hard. Mom RIP you will forever be in my heart I know youre in a better place without pain. Love you always.
I'll never forget my last visit with my grandma right before she passed away. She was in hospice for 3 months and getting worse towards the end. I held her, hugged and kissed her. Poured my heart out to her. Her dementia was so advanced she didn't remember us. I told her in her ear who I was and she kept staring. After repeating to her who I was she said my name and held my hand. This was on a Friday night and she passed that Sunday afternoon. My family and I were able to see her one last time 🥺😓. 3 years too long without her.
These young men showed their true feelings by singing to their dying grandfather. I could hear the sorrow in their voices as they sang but they were determined to finish the hymn. I’m ashamed of those who disliked the video because it shows that they’ve never sat at the bedside of a dying relative, I have and although it hurt for those of us who were there to say goodbye we knew it was for the best.

I’m so very sorry for this loss of your Granddad. You and your lovely family are in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my first grandpa when I was 5. He has Sclerosis of the liver, my second grandpa died from cancer back in 2002 when I was 22. I lost my grandma from Leukemia last year in 2019 in August her 1 year death Is coming up and as I write this I cry😢 My heart is so sad for you too! I’m still so blessed to have 1 grandma left, but she has Dementia and doesn’t know anyone. I’m praying for you💔😭🙏♥️

This is exactly the way my father left this world when I was just a very young man sitting holding his hand and singing to him. This young man will remember this moment for the rest of his life. I begged my dad to let me go visit my Grandad before he passed ... My dad refused. He knew how hard it would be on me. My Grandad was my world, my best friend and my mentor. He was a pastor for most of his life until his health worsened. The last time I saw him alive was at his wife's ( my Nana's funeral) 6 months prior. Nana left this world on 2/24/14 and Grandad left this world on 8/12/14 not even 6 months apart. Grandad was a man of faith. God came first , then family, then everyone else. He was selfless. I miss him greatly but, the reunion will be even sweeter. I can't wait to run up and hold him in my arms in heaven. Bless your family and my heart goes out to you. What a beautiful memory. May it bring peace to your heart to know that he is sitting at Gods feet. He is being taken care of by the angels and his pain is no more.

My mother, my daughter and I sang Amazing Grace at my 2.5 months old grandsons funeral...I sang for my mother’s final two days as I sat by her bed and told her I loved her as she took her last breath...these were two of the hardest things I have ever done. Knowing just how hard it is, I commend these young men for loving their Grampa enough to do this for him🙏

My little grandmother died peacefully at home in her bed surrounded by all of her kids and grandkids. It was a blessing to see how happy and peaceful she was knowing we were all there to see her out of this world. I firmly believe my grandfather was there to see her cross over Into Heaven. She kep saying g he was waiting for her that entire day.

This brings me back to when my dad passed away in my home in 2008 I sat and held his hand everyday and sang hymns to him. The day before he passed he kept reaching up to the ceiling and telling me he was there to get him and I knew he was talking about Jesus. It broke my heart to tel him it was ok to for him to leave me. I asked him to take care of my baby who passed away shortly after his birth in 1993 I said you take care of him until I can get home with all of you. His bone cancer only gave him 2 weeks of life after his diagnosis and I thank God I got to spend the time with him preparing him for his homecoming.

I was unable to sit next to my sister when she passed in July 2020. Thank God, I was able to speak with her the day before. I had to sing a solo at the service but my voice began to give out. Even though you know they've been given a certain amount of time, you still don't want your loved was to go. Thank goodness God gave us memories. Our loved ones may not be here in the flesh but they will always be in our MEMORIES.

I sat and watched my mother in law pass on from this life! I thank God that I was able to be by her bed side at her home going. For almost 7 day's she laid in her hospital bed unconscious! Right before good Friday! My mother in law had a stroke a few years before she passed. She could not use her right side here is my testimony of God's glory! In the end of not saying a word for almost a week. Her organs had started to shut down her temperature was a 104, right before she took her last breath she opened her eyes! Looked up in to the corner in the ceiling. And she started talking to someone as if they was asking her questions and she was answering them. My lord when she left this life I remember seating by her bedside holding her hand the hand that was balled up from her stroke. I was able to open up her hand and move her fingers as if she had never had a stroke! We all will leave this place one day and in that moment I truly realized there is life ever lasting if you truly believe in our lord and savior 🙏.

I buried my mom on the 30/11/2019😭😭 and me my siblings, her aunts from mother's side, uncle's sang and prayed on her death bed. Till today this hour tears roll daily and having to have the first Christmas, New year without her was so painful. And now with this Easter without her, not being able to go to church (catholic) being on lockdown (Namibia) is hard. I'll never forget my last visit with my grandma right before she passed away. She was in hospice for 3 months and getting worse towards the end. I held her, hugged and kissed her. Poured my heart out to her. Her dementia was so advanced she didn't remember us. I told her in her ear who I was and she kept staring. After repeating to her who I was she said my name and held my hand. This was on a Friday night and she passed that Sunday afternoon. My family and I were able to see her one last time 🥺😓. 3 years too long without her.

These young men showed their true feelings by singing to their dying grandfather. I could hear the sorrow in their voices as they sang but they were determined to finish the hymn. I’m ashamed of those who disliked the video because it shows that they’ve never sat at the bedside of a dying relative, I have and although it hurt for those of us who were there to say goodbye we knew it was for the best.

Awe thank you 😊 and yes he's dancing and singing his heart out to our sweet savior Jesus ❤ . My father in law is dying and my kids are having a hard time dealing with it. But I told them to just see him as much as possible and hold his hand give endless hugs and kisses so he knows that someone is always there and he's never alone. God bless you and your family.
