Hey Josh, thanks for the vid... loved it. My mate and I have the same bikes and want to practice at Stockton before doing some of the outback tracks. By the way, what kit did you use to record the vid, in particular, the audio?

Love it 💪 did the bike get hot working hard in the sand?

Dan Cabban it wasn’t too bad. I could tell it would heat up a little on really soft parts like the entry on and when getting moving to start with but once up and going it was fine. I might invest in a fan soon though.

Did you let your tyres down for the sand? I find letting them makes a big difference.

Jon Bennett our tyres were around the 16psi mark. Havnt played around with it too much but yea it would make a difference for sure. Also wouldn’t want to go to low and risk the tyre coming off the bead.

@@_JoshJB_ next time you go to Stockton try going to 12 psi.

+1 for 12psi on sand, that's around what I run on my wr450.

Has anyone said anything to you about beach sand being bad for your bike when it gets up inside things with salt water? Beach riding looks fun but I'd be reluctant to do it just because of what people have said..

ajwalsh nothing a good wash straight afterwards can’t prevent. It’s no different to taking my 4wd on the beach. Keep out of the salt water and make sure you give it a thorough clean and you should be ok.
