    The factory height of my 2019 Slim was so low compared to after installing the Air-A. Factory had stuff-all movement. Was like riding a brick on rubber blocks. The Air-A absolutely rocks!

      Awesome feedback, thank you for letting us know. On those new Softails it sure is nice having AIR and being able to fine tune on the fly for different riding styles, road conditions or adding a passenger.
      We truly appreciate your business.

      Hey Oscar-
      We will add this to our requests for sure.
      However, the kit is all plug and play and very straight forward. Our install guides are helpful, and we list them on our website if you would like to look at one in advance.
      We also offer a live chat feature on our website with Customer Service who can talk you through anything you might run into while installing.

    I have a harley 2021 low rider S and I want to put an air shock on it, I would feel so much better if I could have my bike where I could lower it like when I need to park it and have to back up. And there are other situation where being flat footed would be nice. Anyway I wouldn't be traveling on the hwy with it in the lowered position just those certain situation where being flat fooded would be great. So which shock do you recommend? I really looking forward to this answer

      Hey there, you nailed it and that is what our air kits are designed for. You can expect excellent performance and comfort out of our Mono shock AIR-A suspension for Softails. The kits come complete with everything needed for install.
      This really lets you get low when you need it, but when you are putting on the miles you do not have to sacrifice comfort and performance by having a short coil shock.
      Another huge benefit is that you can adjust air pressure on the fly, so you are always dialed in perfect for your road conditions or solo and 2-up riding. On a mono shock bike where the shock is located under the seat this is ideal because adjusting preload and ride height does not require removal of the seat like a coil shock would.
      The kit you want for your bike is 1311-0156 100% positive final answer. :)
      If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to service@legendsuspensions.com we are more than happy to help.
      This part number above is the part number you would use in any local shop you might purchase at. So, there is no part number to cross reference.
      We hope this answers your questions and thank you for considering Legend Suspensions!

    hello, can it be driven when the shock absorber is half full of air? My idea is to lower the rear end a bit and ride like that

    • @LegendSuspensions
      @LegendSuspensions  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hello, good question and a somewhat lengthy answer.
      The shock is 13" and is designed to rode in the 1" of sag range, this would put the shocks at 12" from center bolt to center bolt while seated on the bike. Depending on the rider weight this could be half full of air.
      What you are looking for is a sag range or no more than 1" total. So, 13" overall length, while seated with gear and passenger(s) the shocks should not measure less than 12".
      Any amount lower than 12" will essentially be riding the shocks with not enough air pressure and this will leave you more prone to bottoming out and potentially damaging the shocks. Think of it just like running a coil shock without enough spring tension to support you from bottoming out. the air shock will work the same way.
      There is a 5/8" bump stop in the shocks so when aired down all the way to the bump stop will still allow the bike to roll safely and keep the fender, paint and wiring safe, but outside of moving around a parking lot or short trips we do not recommend this for long rides as it will eventually deteriorate the bump stop and need to be replaced and it may damage the shock internals as well.
      We hope this answers your questions, if you need further assistance on this please feel free to email our Customer Service Team. service@legendsuspensions.com

    What about lowering your Softail without air suspension

    • @LegendSuspensions
      @LegendSuspensions  Před 2 lety

      Chris, our coil suspension is designed to retain or in some cases raise the stock bikes, we currently do not offer a coil option that will lower the bike below stock.
