Advice for those who have hard times when riding these: When the coaster goes down DO NOT tighten your body, that will make it worse. The best is to exhale as much as you can when the coaster goes down and let your body lose. Don’t fight the coaster.

To me a ride like Goliath was a "big kid ride" and I would've been scared out of my mind to ride it. Around age 9 was when I became psychologically comfortable with "big kid rides" that went upside down, big coasters, etc. The only "big" coaster I was comfortable riding before then was Thunder Mountain at Disneyland, which I rode at age 4 and 6.

Thia story is embarrassing but i will still tell it anyway. I don't like drops at all i feel like im gonna die when i go down a roller coaster drop. 2 year ago my family had the Universal Studios Hollywood California Neighbor Pass so we went there about once or twice a month we had ridden Jurassic Park The Ride 2 times already and i got to say i felt like i was gonna pass out both times but ended up liking it afterwards. Well, the third time around i was scared of going on but i didn't want to look like a wimp so i proceeded to wait in the queue which waa about an hour long. All the way through the queue i was nervous and as end of the line was getting closer and closer i started to feel sick. So when it was our turn to board the ride i felt so sick that i literally had to tell the ride operator if i could get out and wait at Jurassic Outfitters the guy said yes and proceeded to do the walk of shame as my whole family looked at me in shame as i had chickened out at the very last minute i got to see them drop and i felt like they were all looking at me. Them when they got off they started calling me a chicken and it didn't stop for a week and whenever we would go to Universal they would tease me by saying if wanted to go on the ride or if i was to chicken to do it.from that day on i didn't ride it again and the rest of my family did about 3 more times after that day. I was 12 BTW. As cool as the new Jurassic World The Ride looks i think i will just pass. The most embarrassing partbis that the JP ride is very tame compared to Goliath and a 6 year old had the balls to do it.

When I was here with friends, I somehow went on this even though I have a huge fear of this ride. Even though I have been on Goliath, I don't think I'll be going on it again. 😫
I'm 18 and I still can't get the courage to go on that ride, but I'll go on everything else.. this video is probably gonna be my inspiration the next time I go to six flags. Goliath is my mission now thanks to a six year old haha :D
I took my 8 year old son for the first time this past Monday... Goliath and twisted collosus were his favorite. It's hilarious when you realize the poor baby has trouble lifting his head during some of the turns. I kept telling him to lift his head too.
