Finally, the man that brought us Super M4 gets behind the wheel of a G8X. I still think it’s an absolute joke Archie didn’t let Ricky drive the M4 when they did a video, that guy is just waste.

@@Chris-ob7qd I'd have to part with the Silvia unfortunately, which is a hard decision to make, but the M4 F82 is similar money these days but a nicer car in many ways haha
An f82 is levels below the new G series M models in all around drive ability and build quality and looks very dated next to one especially a modded one like this beast and then there is the tune ability of the S58 which is just unreal!!
Don't get me wrong Fx are still good looking cars with good modding ability as i owned one for about a year and was running a stage 1 boot mod 3 pretty dam quick... untill i drove my mates stage 1 G80 m3 xdrive!! GOD DAMM LOL 🤣🤣🔥🔥🚀🚀
Funny enough front and grill is the best part of G8x M4. Everything else looks terrible, like a retarded version of Mustang GT but lines makes no sense. Black one is actually looking pretty good, because you can't see all the details. G80 M3 is much nicer looking, so completely opposite to F8x :D

They're finally dialing this car in. The sound is much better (stock exhaust), the front looks much better, the wheels are some of the best of a production car of all time.

Had a chance to go around in the new M3 competition recently and it was something else..
Real engineering at its finest, best planted rear wheel car ever, dare I say it is the pinnacle of the Performance car heaven.
We went around with and without MDM mode !! Stilll well planted , no spinning!

Definitely more refined and useable than the F80 when pushed. But for me it’s lost the character that made the F80 so special, big part being the DCT. F80 still feels like the better drivers car

I wish they stuck with the DCT for these. It was a massive part of what made the m cars feel special. The ZF is far smoother but thats not what your after when your buying an M car. You want it to feel like something special not like every other model of bmw.

@@potatogodlv9480 nah it’s not a scam but I understand why people would think that. They rely heavily on having enough people take part so that they make enough profit. £10k car that sells 20k tickets for £1 = £10k profit as someone won the competition.
Only time I’d call it a scam is if Ricky picks a number that wasn’t allocated and then decides to close the competition without refunding entries basically keeping the car and the money. Ricky is legit as he re-rolls until there’s a clear winner

@@Rickyseniorr Make sure you go for C.O.B type LEDs though, and not the traditional ones on a strip. They look cheap. The C.O.B ones look more like a constant filiment strip and better quality....😉
