- I took a video of the 71st Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival (July 7, 2023).
This festival will be held for three days from July 7th (Friday) to 9th (Sunday).
If you want to see it locally, it is held around July 7th every year, so please check the official website.
The event will be held throughout the city centering on the JR Hiratsuka Station North Exit Shopping Street.
About 60 minutes by train from Tokyo Station.
highlight
・It is characterized by the splendor of the Tanabata decorations, which are said to be the best in Japan. You can see different decorations every year. This year, I saw the WBC world's best decoration that was exciting in the world.
There are about 500 lanterns in the center of the city, and the main venue, Shonan Star Mall, is filled with gorgeous decorations. Among them, there are large decorations that exceed 10 meters, and the decorations that incorporate popular sports players, popular animals, characters, etc. are also a major feature.
Although I could not shoot this time, parades and other events were also held.
Please take a look at the projection mapping that I couldn't get a ticket for last year.
I am doing BGM, decoration, shooting and editing as a hobby, so please understand the unpleasant points (__)

規模の大きな七夕まつりに驚きました。特に夕方からの映像シーンは、素晴らしい美しさでとても感動しました。
