None of my nonexistent friends are getting any money. And neither are my family f that. I'm buying a chunk of property for myself then a couple rentals. The number of which is Depending on how much I win. Then the rest will get put into investment and just around half a mil or more in my bill paying account. A couple hundred each into a retirement account of some sort for me, my wife, and both kids.
And that's why people should make a savings account already while they are kids and learn to save and deposit money without just spending it immediately from a young age. When I was a kid, my piggy bank wasn't just where I stored candy money. I put money in it and then when it was full I'd go to the bank with my parents and deposit it. A lecturer of mine at Uni had spent 10 years studying lottery winners, and most had gone broke. His advice to us was the same, tell no one, but he told us to put the money aside for a year, in the bank, and not change our lives in that year. To use that year to decide what we were going to do and how much we would give away. The amount of interest earned would also be an incentive to slow down.
