I've not played as any rats besides struthi in a very long time, and honestly kinda missed it. They have a lot more room for ''skill'' expression. Laten overall is also quite solid; with a night build you can actually kill a lot of things with relative ease, especially in a pack. Decent and fun playable! Pounce does need more depth to it though, its way too 1 dimensional and unengaging / boring, both as the pouncer and the thing being pounced

It hurts more when they are trash but you just can’t hit them because of lag
Dint think I've ever died to just lats in this game as a mid tier since thier nerf. Normally you can get to any water spot and just stand ankles deep before they can do damage.
You can say that again, my Dasp confidence went down the drain after that happened to me, part of me feels that it was karma visiting me after the rather hilarious amount of Latens I have killed on my spiky Amarga.

I would love to, campto was one of my 1st ever mains. Its kit is so lack luster though, I would much rather wait until it gets some more abilities

@@articdialationcold3913 you can now yeah, probably a bug. Laten is just very small, so eo can't really reach it

Honestly can't say I care too much. Pounce is bad because its too 1 dimensional. Stuff like 50% less damage and immunity/no immunity are just bad bandaid fixes

Tricky question; depends
A really really good rex can win against anything in a 1v1. Arguably the strongest. Its survivability is very bad though. If a group of 2-3 allos or dasps or a duck and a lambeo want you dead; youre dead.
Overall, I think the best playables in the game are hatz and sucho. They can punch above their weight really well and can kill apexes. They are really hard to kill (sucho is fast on land and can go to water. Hatz can fly) and they have very good maneuverability, so they don't get overwhelmed by small things like a rex would

What do you do against raptors as a meg away from water?
@@Solace7madmax go in a turn fight with it and counter turn. A meg generally shouldn’t lose to a laten

Against the eotrike fight, kick wouldve been more useful than pounce
In that dasp or styraco fight on the other hand, pounce was better
I was the first dasp near gp you were to good
Credit where its due, you did almost kill me at one point, when we were actually in gp. I cut all the gp part out, just because it lasted too long and this video is already 28 mins. But you got me down to I think it was 5-10% at one point lol

How did you manage to kill an eotrike as laten without even using pounce
He used pounce a few times in the Eo.

Eotrike has a nice half a second between hits. If timed right you can easily use tail fan to get behind it! After that laten is small and agile enough to stay behind an eo for a solid few bites. Only thing you have to watch out for is trample damage

Usually if I die, it'll be to a big cuddle party in ic, not in a fair fight, which doesn't make for good content. Or if I try killing a rex on struthi and die 10 minutes in. Doesn't make for a good video

This video has a death, my pycno video has 2 deaths, my duck video has 2 deaths, my alb video has one, I die at the end of the alb vs achillos video, I can keep going for a while. So not sure I get your point

No, but it was funny. The Eotrike fight was 11 minutes, followed by another 3 minute dasp fight. Its purpose is to serve as tension release / lighten the tone of the video
