The ending to the movie was perfect. 10/10 But I want an alternate ending where Violet and Gilbert is together in Leidenschaftlich and Violet does some simple job along with her friends there. It will not only be a happy ending for her but us as well.
Gilbert's brother is the coolest looking character in this series. Also, I preferred the anime ending over the movie one. The movie was good but it was a bit cliche unlike the series.

It showed throughout its run that how much people suffered because of wars and they still have to keep on living despite losing their most loved ones. Gilbert being alive made the movie seem too much like a fairytale instead of a serious anime.

Release Watch Order: -Violet Evergarden anime series 13 episodes -Violet Evergarden Special (34mins) -Violet Evergarden Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll (1hr 30m) -Violet Evergarden: The Movie (2hr 20m) The middle two isn’t necessary to watch really. As long as you watch the anime tv series and the final movie you’re good to go, but I’d highly suggest watching all of them anyways.
