People who watch me dance today sometimes assume I've been dancing for many years. I made this video so you could see the awkward body that started just one year ago.
Here's my secret: I practiced everywhere. At bus stops. In line at the grocery store. At work - Using the mouse with my right hand and practicing drills with my left hand. You don't have to train hardcore for years to become a dancer. But you must be willing to practice and you better be hungry.
This isn't a story about dancing, though. It's about having a dream and not knowing how to get there - but starting anyway. Maybe you're a musician dreaming of writing an original song. You're an entrepreneur dying to start your first venture. You're an athlete but you just haven't left the chair yet.
When you watch someone perform, you're seeing them at the top of their game. When they score the winning point or sell their company for millions - you're seeing them in their moment of glory. What you don't see is the thousands of hours of preparation. You don't see the self doubt, the lost sleep, the lonely nights spent working. You don't see the moment they started. The moment they were just like you, wondering how they could ever be good.

Good job to the population of viewers who decided to hate on this girl for attempting and succeeding at her goal. Not ONLY that, but actually built enough self confidence and esteem to start taping herself, and dancing in public - which I can only imagine half of you wouldn't do because you're sitting on your phones constantly complaining about life. I applaud this girl for her dance moves, and though some were a bit odd to me, they looked amazing as an end result. Please keep trying new things, and putting yourself out there!

I don't know why so many people are hating on her. Her moves are a little bit own, but that doesn't mean, they're bad. I like her dancing
I also didnßt get it why people are so negative about her improvements! For me as the oposite of a talent who is now just picking up my first dance classes, I though of it as very motivating! Heck why can`t people just enjoy and be happy about someones passion?! After 1 year you ain´t gonna master any sport or art! It´s about enjoying what you do and getting better step by step. Of course if you know how to dance it won´t look that great to you cause if you are good at it it will be harder to impress while you know all the flaws!
Like I used to play 3 hours piano for 8 years - while some people would be "aaaaww-ing" at some that play for 1-2 years some nice melodies from maybe a favorit movie, I´d also just think ooh cute... And not be all baffled lol but still wouldn´t keep me from liking to see someone getting started!

I saw a hot cute Korean dancer from 1million dance studio. I started dancing because of how talented he was and his moves are just so beautiful.. I just started to learn dancing and I suck and it doesn't look nice although I know that I will improve but just looking at my horrible dance moves makes me want to quit ._. so let alone how hard the moves are haha, so now i'm just trying to do dance workouts to have my body shape and get a little used to the complicated moves :)

I keep on asking my mother to go to a dancing class and told her i would concentrate and get straight ''O's" in my tests(school works).But she always ignore me and say,'Dancing is of no use.You better study.' Wow, that musicality growth was evident in this video. First she started with the beat (which is common and sometimes the only level people can follow) but then she started speed changes with the melody and in the end was incorporating multiple elements in the music
Ever since I was little, i've been asking my mom to put me in dance classes (specifically hip hop) and she said no...I would always get inspired when watching dance movies like step up and I would always dance in front of the tv...I got older(highschool) and asked her again and this time she just didn't do anything about it. I tried learning from youtube, but would fall off the trail because of homework. I'm a freshie in college now and still haven't had that much practice. I'm not that bad at dancing. My bro used to be one and he says i'm not bad. I competed against my friend at a a party and the crowd loved me (no gas, they genuinely did) but I am eager to become better, just BUSY with school work. I wonder how great I would have been if I started..
No offense, but it sounds like you're kind of complaining and hung up on the past. Don't blame your mom for not sending you, if you have passion for dance you can always learn online and teach yourself like many people did. Anyway, I believe you're good, so it's never too late to learn. Forget about the past and just start right now :)

I look up vids sometimes and try to learn popping, stuff like that. If you're in uni, maybe there's a dance group you can join! Sadly I'm still in hs haha :)

OK I am going to say this coming from a dancers point of view (because I am a dancer) This video can be viewed many ways. Dancing itself can be viewed many ways...Dance is an art form used to express the body language of what a person is feeling at the time so technically there is no wrong way to dance if that is how that person felt to expressed themselves. Sure she is not the World's best dancer but what you see from day 4 to 365 is that she gained confidence and she expressed that. A LOT OF THE PEOPLE HATING ON THIS VIDEO COULDN'T DO WHAT SHE DID! I'm a self taught dancer and I learned competitive moves on my own in 5 months but I take classes now it all started with CZcams. I really was into watching dance videos and that kind of stuff. I remember thinking to myself I wish I was this good. And so one day I started looking up dance tutorials and started to get decent. The first move I learned to do was carries. I also remember going to my friends birthday party and her dancer friend showing off her moves and I was jealous and so I worked so hard on my leg holds and now I can wrap my leg around my neck😂😂😂😂. I remember when I started to make short dance videos for Instagram and stuff and my friends commenting" I didn't know u danced" and I was like wow this is getting some where. About a month into this I asked my mom if I could do classes and she laughed a little and said we'll see . But now she's sees how far u have come and she is my biggest supporter. I also go to a great studio I'm not on a team yet but I know I will soo

i'm 18 and honestly the idea of dancing professionally as a backup dancer seems like something i really want to do i'm not at the level where i see youtube (more hip hop) videos and i'm like okay i can do that but i know in time i may be able to execute that level of dancing
but to become a backup dancer thats where i'm stuck because no one has really explained that

Even if you don't like her style she pursued her dream, improved on her skills and built up the courage to dance in public.
