A wild red empress!!! Now I can die happy.
NYCity Cichlids I seen one just as I entered the water from the Island at around 1m deep. Incredible colours.
Man that is just beautiful to see them grazing on the rocks.
Not many people realise they do this. Looking for organism's in the algae.

He's a beauty. Love how he just keeps grazing. As if you're not there. Great footage. Is he grazing for small inverts that live in the algae/sediment?
That's exactly right. I'm pretty sure this might be the only footage of one showing this feeding behaviour. Well I might be wrong but I've spent hrs upon hrs researching lake videos.
