I've said it before but i want to say it again. i appreciate very much how you get directly to the point. so many CZcams channels waste so much of our time with deceptive titles and time killing garbage.
I love when people show the mistakes they make and show how they learned from it. It’s so helpful! Thanks for the video! I’ll definitely be referencing this!
It looks great! I LOVE that you include mistakes and thought processes.
One of their funniest videos (in my opinion) was a mistake video. Laura was planting up a window box (I think it was the tool shed) and one of the hooks gave way and the entire basket came crashing down. Hi-lar-i-ous.
Hi Jake ~ do you happen to have a link for that video? I wouldn't know where to start looking. 😏
@@sandyg8794 Yep. Sure. Here's a link to the video from the beginning, but the funny happens at [here: czcams.com/video/AqkiT3xRQ1U/video.html ] (give it about 15 seconds). Laura handles it like a pro.

Edited to fix a link.
We made a brick patio in my herb garden with these bricks about 5 years ago and we still love it. In rainy Seattle I do fight with moss on the bricks, but that adds a little charm.
I just put in a very small 13" barrier and I knew I would find a video that you have done so I could get a few pointers!
I realize that this is way off topic and please know that I think your videos are wonderful, but I have to tell you, your HAIR is freakin' gorgeous!!
Looks good! Screed with two 4-foot lengths of 3/4 plumbing pipe which has an outside diameter of 1 inch. You can lay it right in the sand and just fill in the spaces with a trowel after you remove the pipe.
We kid around here about how many trips to Home Depot a project will take. It’s so funny! Nice job on the walkway. It looks great!
Same!
Love watching garden answer while sipping on my coffee. Amazing thank you so much for the inspiration. 🌱👍🏽👍🏽
I am also enjoying watching her videos as I sip my coffee. It is amazing how many of her ideas that I have incorporated into my gardening
Love watching *other* people work, huh? 😂
Pat Pezzi your very funny. I actually do some work in the garden as I get inspired by Laura. I’m not trying to come off as rude but you have slightly offended me
Hi Bye I agree!
Thank you for siding with me @ Fluffy Anne
Love your videos. You are truly blessed with your beautiful family
Love it! Of note: those are not bricks but Holland paver stones usually made from concrete.
I didn't think they looked like brick, thanks.
Excellent! Thank you Laura💖
A woman who does it all. Im so impressed.
Oh I love love brick path!🥰
You are looking beautiful. You are outshining the path.
you make it look easy, so now my wife is making me help her with our brick path. she forwarded me your video. thanks. 😊
Very nice 👍🏼 what would have also been nice would be if you made it 2.5ft wider each side and then put a bench on each side with 2 planters each side of the bench. 👌🏼
I have a path in my garden that gets muddy and I wanted to brick it for years. The stepping stones looked nice but after a while the stones chip and need to be replaced. The bricks would be permanent with no weeding EVER. After seeing the process of laying a brick path, I just might want to DIY. I could practice laying the bricks on a curve before the final install. Thank you for your video. The step-by-step is helpful.
That came out great. Just shared it with my sister.
Sehr schön geworden 👍🏼🤩
Hmm...giving me inspiration. I have a short pathway that’s narrow that I would like to see widened. Great job on your diy project!
Love this!! But now the gazebo is leaving for your beautiful green house. Bummer, but that's the ever changing garden.
GREAT JOB !! I like the style you used on the bricks.. think I'll steal it and do that with mine when I make them :)
thanks for the great idea!!
A little help from Russell :) Very nice path.
You & Aaron are amazing. I watch your videos & I feel I need to go take a nap to recover. 😉
I love the voice over. Great video!
It looks amazing! I would guess the suds were because the hose didn't have an end on it to spread the water out more and the amount of water in such a small area lifted out some of the binding agent.
Looking great, keep up the good work!🙏🤗🌺🌹
Not all Diyers do amateur work. You guys are living proof. Tremendous job as always.
It’s so beautiful. You can actually take your receipt back during the sale and get a price adjustment. We do that all the time. Well done!
Every time I do a project I hear Norm Abram from This Old House in my head saying, "first you run a string," or "first you snap a chalk line" and "measure twice cut once."
I think one of the things I like best about your videos is that you don't try to be perfect. You let us know your mistakes and how you fix them which helps so much when we are trying to replicate a project. Thanks for being real!
Russell does his obligatory quality control check!
Are you not tired? wow!!!! Awesome jobs!
Sometimes it’s best to just jump in and get it done, and you and Aaron did a great job!
You are inspiring. What a great little project to share.
I love projects like these.
It’s so nice to see that I’m not the only one who does things on impulse!👍🏻😉
Really enjoyed this video and especially how the path started to go wrong and had to be redone. Helps to see that everyone can have a problem (and it’s not just me). The cost analysis was very helpful too. You have such great ideas!!
We did a flagstone patio this past weekend. Same procedure as you. I HATED it! Never again! We have mostly clay that we had to dig through, and we were dealing with a slope that leads to a hill. I was a wreck the whole time. Laughed at some of your frustrations because we experienced similar ones. Your end result is beautiful.
Beautiful, and well demonstrated.
Great job! You are so handy! Maybe the water hose was hot and it suds the brick. Not sure I said it right. 🤨
You're such a talented lady..you can do anything.. amazing.
Wow- great result. You make this look quite approachable for anyone. Thanks!!
Oh Laura I love your impulsiveness and energy, that's what makes coffee with you in the morning so fun as it gives me ideas to start my day with!!! Love the pathway it looks awesome and I can't wait to see the planting as well!
I love watching your videos!
Looks great didn't notice the grass being added so you did a great job.
That is my favorite brick. Looks great. We are transforming our back yard since I discovered you. Thank you for all the great ideas.
I wind up doing projects is the same manner, it's the snowball effect, as it rolls it just gets bigger. lol I have two such projects planned for this summer.
Love how this looks. Colors of the brick are perfect. I like the muted tones of them. Great teamwork job! Y’all can do anything and everything. Nice to be handy.
Here’s a tip for ya! If something you buys goes on sale after you bought it, most stores will give you the difference back. It depends on the store, but most are 30 day guarantee on prices but some are 60/90 day as well. Stores don't post this where customers can see it readily but I’d ask if you catch it next time.
Btw, I’m totally gonna do this in my front yard along my driveway. Also, I have garden envy for your house! Beautiful, just beautiful!
It looks so nice!!!!
Great job!!! You two just amaze me. 🌻💕🌞🌻💕🌞
Thanks for pricing that out. Love the look.
Very inspiring 👍the pathway come out so beautiful thank you for sharing your video 👏🧱
I really like the color of the bricks! Turned out very nice!
I love that you are matching all the brick pavers throughout. It will look fabulous when all are done. I’m as happy for you as you are doing this project. ♥️
Ok your vid, was the best and the most helpful that I have watched. Now my project does not seem so scary haha 😅 Thank you
This is the best video for beginners! Thk you!
Damn!!! That’s how you open the bag of sand🙌🏻
The brick walk looks great!
Great job Laura and Aaron!
Great project. Really appreciate the work you put into the video production too. Also, thanks for sharing the cost of materials with viewers. Cheers!
Well done Laura and Aaron it look amazing love to see you 2 working together and and also Russel wanted to help 😀😀👌
Very nice! Great idea to use string.
Thank you for the information and you experience!! Great project!!👏👏🎈🎈
Sooooooo nice! I can’t wait to do my back yard.
It looks really pretty hard work always pays off in the end
nice brick choice, timeless design.
Garden Answer, Is So Much More Than I Could Have Possibly Anticipated . . . Simply The Best !
Nice job guys !! Looks amazing 😎.
I would like to lay something like this for my front sidewalk. Would it hold up in the winter time ? I live on Ohio.
Please let me know if you can. Thanks so much. Love watching, listening and learning from you. You're so upbeat, fun and energetic. Makes me feel like I could accomplish anything !! You're just wonderful !! 👍👍😁😊
Beautiful garden and Gazebo.
I love how you're not afraid to get dirty #girlpower
This turned out nicely, but I had to laugh...."another trip to Home Depot". Projects around our house go that way. Makes me feel better, thanks.
Looks sensational!!
Funny, just last week I re-watched you laying that patio. Y'all, the pathway looks great and isn't that how it always is...buy something and THEN it goes on sale. Smart of Aaron to stock up for later projects. 😊💚
This is a man's job!
You always make these projects look straightforward, must come with knowing what you are doing, excellent job.
Time for a TWO hour garden tour!!!!! Its almost JUNE!!!!
I’ll watch 👏.
Your property is beautiful.
Wow! You are always doing major projects. I can't keep up. 😁 It turned out beautifully as usual. Great job. 😊
Wonderful pathway, it will be so nice to walk on. 🦉💐
Thanks for sharing. Yes elbow grease is not hard, but when you have tennis elbow, I need a whole lot of grease to get me going.
Excellent video! Fast, to the point, with the details I needed. Thank you!
Loved it as usual!👏🏼💕🌹
Laura - it is really lovely. Well Done Aaron too.
I’m so happy you tackled this project, I have been apprehensive about laying a brick mow-strip around my foundation beds that I started (result of binge watching Garden Answer) and now I have the fuel to tackle it!!! Thanks y’all!!
Awesome job! Your both amazing at what you do. Your property is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing 😊🤗
Wow! She knows what she is doing. This is a really good demonstration I was amazed of how skilled she is. This is really good, keep it up and best wishes!
Too funny, I am totally with you on impatience. It was nice to see that, it looks easy enough except for labor. 😊
You are such an inspiration! I think I'll try this in my yard
Lol I love how this whole project got started! 🤣 "we're just gonna be walking in mud"
Hey Laura,
Love your videos! the bubbles coming from the hose can be due to heat. Think of a sauna kind of effect and if it's sitting in direct sun. It's basically spraying hot water and needs a few minutes for the water to cool down. Especially if the hose wasn't bled out before and had water in it. For your pathway it probably didn't matter but your plants might like cooler water :) Keep up the good work-- I have learned how to garden from you. My mother loves your family and your videos.
You certainly are a jack of all trades! 🤣
Love how you’re so hands on . You just get it done . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Great hubby to take so many trips to HD.
Love your videos! You have alot of property and you do such a beautiful job taking care of it!
I love it!! I'm about to build a pathway for a part of my yard that floods, so thank you for this informative video!
Amber Sepulvado Aren’t you afraid the walk way will be damaged when it floods?... I want to build a fire pit/patio, but in the Spring my backyard floods, too and it makes me nervous
Were trenching the area for a spill way, so the walkway shouldn't be damaged from flooding. It's on the side of my house which is a narrow area anyway, (we have neighbors about 15 feet away) so it's best to make a walkway anyway.
Due To Flooding, Consult With A Professional Mason Prior To Any DIY Installation. Bricks In This Type Of Area, May Need To Be Bound Together With Mortar.
Thank you for the advice! I'll do that. we will be hiring someone to do the leveling & trenching for us for sure, probably have them lay the walkway for us as well.
I can relate to wanting to get it done
The pathway looks fantastic! Love the colors of the bricks. 👍🏻🌿🐈
Yaaaay. It came out great.
