NEW Hidden Mickey Pin Hunt INSANE Release Day | Cast Lanyard Trading Returns To WDW!!

- The 2024 Hidden Disney Pins have been released at Disney World so we rope drop Epcot to hunt for the newly released pins! This was the first day cast lanyard pin trading offically returned since 2020! Disney did not dissapoint and everyone had an amazing day pin trading and hunting for the new disney pins! Join us as we park hop to 3 of the Disney World parks and pin trade with other collectors to try and complete our hidden disney sets!

Hi! Can you explain more about how this works for cast members? Are you allowed to buy the pins you want that have been traded to you for your own personal collection? This sounds like a fun job!
@@spritemarie Cast Members are not allowed to buy the pins that were traded to them while on duty. They can however on their time off go into the parks buy pins and pin trade just like any other guest would.
Would y’all be interested in us giving away the few duplicates of the new ones we got that we didn’t trade to other guests yet? 👀

Love the video!! We rope dropped Animal Kingdom on Sunday and had a ton of luck! We are no good at vlogging, BUT we did film it just for our memories haha! I'll post the video in the next week or so. Love seeing how everyone did at the different parks! :D

You could use a small Pinfolio to carry your traders. Makes it so much easier than a zip lock bag. Plus most of the people with Zip Lock's are trading scrappers.

Looks like you guys had a great day. We miss going to DW all the time when we lived in Florida. We live in Hawaii now and when we stay at Disneys Aulani we have seen the cast members with some great pins. The sad thing is all the scrappers that people trade with. We are doing a Disney cruise this year and I hope we can get some great pins.

You guys have way way better pins and success than here in CA!!! You’re lucky to find 1 or 2 here in Disneyland! Maybe we can work out some trades next time you’re here! 😊😊
WDW went above and beyond for this hidden Mickey release! Everyone was so excited to be able to find so many as that is usually how it is! We were expecting to hopefully find 1-2 as that is usually how it is!
The THING about DISNEY is that they have to keep investing in their animated Characters and live Characters in order to make their products relevant! And when I say (Investing) I mean making more movies or commercials or T.V. or Radio promo's or people dressed up like them at events or in Vegas stuff like that!

It was unbelievable how many everyone was able to find! leaders were going around restocking to make sure all the cast members constantly had fresh hidden Disney pins on them!!
From someone who works in Morocco when kid cot isn’t open the pin board should be at the cash register in the shop!! :)

Disney definitely treated you guys better than they did DLR pin traders 🤣 what a fiasco. Been 2 separate trips 3 days each and still have yet to find a HM on the boards/CM lanyard. Hope to find one my next trip in a couple weeks!

The one thing I notice is how some Cast Members tell you to take the Pin Back off and keep your Pin Back and hand them the Pin without the Back
Before they took away Cast Member Pin Trading you were supposed to hand them the Pin with the Back on but now they want it off
That’s not really Safe since people might not pay attention and poke themselves
And Disney is supposed to be about Safety

At 27:38 in the video, I was in Frontierland, sitting two feet from them with my binder open and they were so fixated on what pins they had that they picked up their board and walked away without even noticing I was there (and had one of what they were looking for)
Awe we should have said hi! We saw someone there who was busy trading so we were just looking from afar but didn’t spot the ones we were after, must’ve missed them!

Yep once the chasers get released that will make them 6 in the sets, or 7 for the super chaser ones!!

They end up trading them. Pin trading is huge. They have many of the new HM (Hidden Mickeys). It’s really not wrong.

Pin trading sure is an expensive hobby! We do put a lot of our money into pins to make sure we have good ones to trade!

Hi guys love your videos. While it is an amazing feet to collect finish those hidden Mickey sets, I’m sorry to inform you each set has chasers. (Unless you don’t consider them in the set, I digress).
The chasers are as followed:
Ear hats=headless horseman
Shirt=don’t know for sure but there’s one
R2-D2= green with blue background
WALL·E= Hal
Villains= professor ratigan
Stitch holidays= Christmas
Never seen the different colour avengers logo's. Are they also new?
The marvel ones are the wave from last year

Seems a bit greedy.
The lanyards were constantly being refreshed and there was plenty to go around, being into pin trading as a hobby, you’ll need duplicates to pin trade with other collectors to help eachother out to complete everyone’s sets 😁 we were able to help a few friends get the last ones they needed for their sets and we also put into circulation pins others will enjoy. I’m sorry it came off that way, we’ll take note for next time

That’s a great one for the parks! We usually carry one of those in our park bags. Our favorite for when we go to pin trading events is the pinfolio pro ones since they hold so much!

Confusing they call it "hidden mickeys" but none of them are mickey LUL
Please guys, can you treat your traders better than putting them in a food bag. You could teach the community the error in doing so. You know they get scratched up easy, it’s really disappointing when you finally find a pin from a board thats real and is a grail and then you see the quality isnt great as its been rubbing up against other metal in a food bag. The screen printed pins especially damage soooo easily. 🙏🏻🤞🏻
Totally get what you mean! Today, we had a bag of extra ones just in case they released a ton of good ones (which they did) so we dipped into our backup bag! But yes, we’ll have to experiment with different ways to hold our pins! 😁
