    It is supposed to be a three-drop formula, akin to the RdF formula. It’s worth noting that those who have not enjoyed this are using quite a bit more than three drops. I’m
    still trying my Patrick Ta on the daily now, but I’m still looking forward to trying the drops. I skipped the drops in the Surratt sale in anticipation of getting this.
    Love your lip color today!

      Hmm interesting...I didn't see that in the product description. I feel like it would still be the same situation and then without the coverage lol. I don't think the Surratt Dew Drops are like this at all. Those felt like a true foundation to me

    This is such a hard pass for me. I have normal to dry skin. I tried my friend’s, wrong shade, to get a sense of it. I was appalled at how greasy it looked. I live in very humid south Florida. This isn’t a look I’m after. I do appreciate an illuminating, slightly glowy foundation with a light to medium coverage. Thank you for a very detailed review ❤️

    Hi Sofia! Thank you for the thorough demo and review of this skin (oil) tint. I did not buy this tint as I had read the ingredient list before it arrived at Sephora. If I did have this product, I would mix it (in my hands) with an oil-free sunscreen and apply it with fingers (e.g. IT Cosmetics oil-free tinted sunscreen/moisturizer). That e-said, I think this product is best suited for someone who has very dry skin and who needs only a bit of coverage (definitely not the majority of people). I question the raison d’être of this product when it was conceived by the WA team - and the wear-testing. Most if not all of WA’s products have a high oil content - and many reviews mention the lack of dry-down. Oil is a barrier product that prevents the escape of water from the skin but oil molecules are too large to penetrate into the dermis so they just stay on top of the skin until wiped off or washed off. Thank you again for this wear-test and super honest review. The Gucci blush looks lovely on your cheeks and eyes.

    • @SofiaSeesBeauty
      @SofiaSeesBeauty  Před 2 lety

      Yes very well said Jocelyne! Just because they are oils doesn't necessarily mean they will hold in the moisture. I like your application idea. Maybe I will try to use just a few drops and rub them between my hands and apply it like skincare

    I love your reviews - they are super comprehensive and honest. Furthermore, you encourage your viewers to be smart shoppers, which is one of the biggest problem in the beauty industry since most content creators just want us to constantly buy.

      @@chaosbecomesher Hi! To be honest, I don't love it, I feel like my skin has to be really good and hydrated for it to work because usually it sits on top and accentuates any dryness I have, I also find that tapping it in works better for me rather than spreading it like a serum as they say. My mother used it and she loved it and her skin is drier than mine, so I guess I'll have to keep testing it. Hope this helps :)

    I did have some suspicions it would basically be super oily with some pigment swimming in it 😞 I had this sort of experience with the Kosas one and the Ilia one, which I wanted to love but they were just impossible to use. What they *did* work well for, is to thin out other denser foundations. But even then... I couldn't be bothered mixing things so had to just get rid 😞

I'm glad to see this is more oil based so i don't feel inclined to try it. I'd rather stick with the summer fridays one which is not as dewy lol. I do powder that as well most of the time i apply it but i think something like this will slide right off especially if i wore sunglasses. Hi! Another thorough review from you ❣I'm 38, I have fine lines but am not too concerned about that because my skin is in general very youthful. I however, HATE oils of any kind because they tend to break me out (I have keratosis pilaris faceii) and this foundation just lists straight up 10 oils as the first 10 ingredients. I think I will rather try the Saie Slip Tint, as HotAndFlashy had a glowing review of it - and it's more than half the price of the Westman drops.
