Agreed. Should be this as RC Pro (as in, professional) and the current RC Pro as RC Plus.

I am interested to see this controller and DJI Pilot 2 App for the M-300. The smart controller for the M-300 is small and cannot handle a lot of computing power.
Do you have to have another RC enterprise plus controller to use the dual capability-One person flying the drone one person running the camera? Or can you use an RC pro to run the camera lol?
Will it work with a mini 3 pro or an mavic 3 Cine?

hello billy excellent video and information about the rc, but it always intrigues me and I would like you to raise the info of us DJI equipment users who make an RC for all their equipment because I have several and it hurts me not to be able to use it with them.

Is there any possibility of getting one of these to work with my Mavic-3?
I have Ankylosing Spondylitis which has fused my spine and most joints and using the RC-Pro is getting a bit too difficult to use. A friend has the M30 at his agency and the remote really makes it possible for me to begin enjoying flight again.
The M30 is a bit higher $$ than is can afford, but the remote should doable.

I would ask if is it possible to make a live streaming By a RTMP link? I didn't see the portal "trasmission" in settings. If this is not possible, Is it possible to connect the DJI RC Plus to a pc and see into it what the pilot sees into the controller?

DJI should make this controller compatible with Mavic 3 and Inspire 3… and make it so you can do dual controller mode for mavic 3 so that the second controller can be used as a client monitor

Excellent review of the features of the DJI RC Plus Billy. I would like DJI to eventually incorporate some features o f the RC Plus into the next iteration of the RC Pro, such as weather proofing and the ability for an external battery in conjunction with the internal battery. In your next video, can you compare the gimbals of the RC Pro and the RC Plus?
Can anyone help me figure out how to use an HDMI cable to stream my matrice 30t smart controller to my laptop? Does this require some type of app download on the laptop? Really confused.
@@roostercogburn5005you probably need a HDMI to USB adapter (as your HDMI port on the laptop is output only), along with something like OBS to capture the stream.

It is if you flash RC Pro firmware, I've done that to mine and it works just fine with the DJI Fly app.
Another well done video ..... Can you turn the strobes off? Also, do the strobes stop if taking a photo or video?
Yes. All the leds are capable of being turned off, as well as the strobe on top and bottom aux lights. There’s a setting called discreet mode that kills all the lights. There is also a setting to turn off the arm lights while taking pictures or videos as well.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to find out.
Billy can perhaps answer your question directly, but I can confirm that the standard Smart Controller is a great screen when not flying with goggles, or sharing you flight with others..

The RC Plus controller antennas have MCX male connectors.

If dji make a smaller version remote in that layout for mavic series it would be great I really like where the thumb sticks are located I feel like every rc should be made this way without your fingered going over the screen
How do you retrieve data off the new controller to an IPhone? Pictures, videos screenshots etc? The send via Bluetooth doesn’t work. Any help would be brilliant.
Remove the sd card from the drone and install into a computer and they can be retrieved this way. That’s the only way I have discovered so far.

Sometimes I pinch the sticks depending on how cold the day is, not sure it's going to work for me without a lanyard, you didn't show the lower end of the controller if it had threaded areas like on the Smart controller? My i2 is for sale at the moment in readiness for the i3 hope this controller comes with the i3 but with some sort of lanyard or cradle. A very exciting times.
It has 4 1/8” threaded holes, two on the bottom and two on top.

With such an advanced controller, I did not see a lanyard mount. Dropping it would certainly be a bad day given it's cost.
It has a solid metal bar on the back of it that you can strap a lanyard to.

When a controller costs as much as your 401K
This Drone could be the best creation of DJI, and the best Drone ever made!
However this Drone has 2 big downsides;
1- You can’t pay $20,000( Australian price of DJI M30T basic kit with DJI care 1 year) in a Drone where the main camera, hardly can turned left and right, I mean when you turned left and right, you can see the arms, propellers, and stuffs, like in the whole frame!!!
The main camera should have been able to turned 360 degrees, or at the list 180 degrees in a clean view, only looking for the subject in the frame, specially when it has been “Built/ Made” for first safety responders, like Fire fighters, Police and others!!
2- The main camera should be able to swap for other payload, like P1/L1 and more, specially because it is very compact and great drone with its size and portability!
However about swapping the cameras/ payloads, if they haven’t thought about that before realising, at the list they should have made 4 different versions…
- First version M30/ M30T,
-Second version M30 P1
-Third version M30 L1
-Forth version the Dock one, as it already has been made( but this one it’s specific for companies and stuffs).
If the DJI Enterprise Team had thinking about that, it would have been selling just like water bottles!!
Specially for many trades out there, and many different industries would benefit from that choice to buy, different needs but in the same Drone, even more special because of those many features like as deploy time, Walter-proof, portability and on!!!
*This Controller its the best RC ever made!!!
Why not make it work with anything that is compatible. If someone, for example, has a Mini 4 pro and they have the extra bucks, why not!

DEJA VU? As long as this is not another Cendence / Crystal Sky (expensive) waste of time. I love mine, but DJI mislead us as to its ongoing expansion and compatibility. A great screen, ergonomic and lots of buttons and controls (sound like the RC PLUS?). The big problem was the closed system, with no external apps able to be loaded. No ability to to use something like Drone Deploy, unless you use the standard controller. The RC Plus looks just as heavy, but does not seem to have a place to hook the harness which I use all the time on the Cendence.

It’s literally a remote that is only made for high end commercial drones lol
