I'd have a life Jacket on if I was jumping waves and doing top speed runs, but I value my life..... sweet boat though. I had a 42' Sonic with triple 700 SCi Mercs. Was fun but man I dumped so much money into that boat and Fuel.
Might be a good idea to wear full racing protective gear when operating a boat like that. Would be the land equivalent of racing a crotch rocket while wearing a banana hammock.
Unforgettable Floating Object? Back when we drove overpowered Jet boats on that lake/river (the 70's) the sherriff's boat had to wait until we stopped somewhere to catch up and ask us to slow down.
With someone handeling the throttles and trim properly it can handle them pretty well (considering it's length). This guy at the wheel either got cought by the surprise (hasn't set the drives properly prior to hitting the wave) or he set them in a way to fly as far/high as possible on purpose. It looked cool but I wouldn't want to be in the boat when it landed. Must have been back braking.

(20' blazer 202 pro-v and we was running 60+ behind a HUUGE i mean DONAL TRUMP HUUGE YACHT; and of course we caught up with it. we was already on short time frame and I AM NOT LYING. this yachts wake was atleast a 6+ feet ramp!!! well when we got to that sucker my buddies dad hot footed that sucker and jumped that wake. we was in the air for about 3 seconds but it felt like a lifetime 😂. i looked at that yacht and they was like HOLY SCHIESSE!!! our boat captain was signaling a peace out sign to them😂 right before we landed back on the water like a feather😂😂 gosh i cant still feel that day.
If you are going to jump wakes you need to do it close enough to the producing boat to have only one wave. Then you dont get out of rhythm like this guy did.

Trim the drives as far up as I could, so they would push the bow down and reduce the throttle to the minimum the moment the bow touches the wave.
How is trimming the drives up pushing the bow down? I've had a few rough rides with guys that thought the same way
