I think the saddest (but at the same time wholesome) is Fry realizing his brother Yancy named his son after him. “Here lies Philip J. Fry, Named for his uncle, to carry on his spirit”
This episode and scene hit especially hard as someone with 2 brothers, and how you may fight and bicker growing up but as you get on later in life they truly become some of your best friends
Ngl I wish they did this scene differently, imagine having on your grave, “he was named for his uncle to carry on his spirit” instead of having what you did in your life and being your own person. The only part of this whole show I really didn’t like.
@@bmstylee it's not though, because it got corrected! Remember in one of the movies, Lars (time copy Fry) came back and Seymour lived the rest of his life happy with him.
Same here @roberthubbard1360. From the classic Connie Francis song I Will Wait For You to watching Seymour laying down just outside of Panucci’s Pizza for twelve more years until he died at fifteen years of age on March 18th, 2012. 🥺😢😭
@@henrywilson2136 yeah it's ironic because the guy could've literally just not typed the word "kinda" at all and his comment would've made more sense. So, he took the time to type a word that devalued his own comment.
I would have also added: . “Ghost in the Machines” when ghost Bender is about to kill Fry in the hospital, but he stops when he hears Fry say how he’ll miss Bender and now realizes how valuable robot life can be and he cries over Bender . Fry saying goodbye to Mr Peppy from “Fry Am the Egg Man” . Bender lets Ben get a bending slot in place of a memory slot and says “daddy loves you, remember that” to him from “The Bots and the Bees” . When Fry was about to kill himself in “Meanwhile” . Fry crying when he thought Leela was dead in “Meanwhile” . Leela leaving in “Overclockwise” . Leela crying over her photo album in “Xmas Story” . Calculon’s second take in “Calculon 2.0” . Calculon dies in “The Thief of Baghead”
Seymour's story always makes me sad to make the continuity fit, in my head, i always thought that Seymour knew that 'Lars' wasnt his Fry, but another Fry. it was someone he know would keep him safe and keep him company, i mean, it is a Fry after all ... but its why Seymore stayed outside the shop - waiting for HIS Fry to come back.
And this is just some examples why I trump Futurama over The Simpsons. I never cried at the Simpsons. Fry's mum smiling at the photo of Fry destroyed me.
Everyone says the Jurassic Bark ending is the saddest (it got retconned in the movie! He lived happily with Lars!) but the Luck of the Fryrish and Game of Tones endings are the ones that do it for me.
what hit me the most actually was zoidberg just getting shot down. I relate to that so much. putting myself out, looking for that special someone, only to just be told I'm not good enough.
Seymour waiting for Fry causes my eyes to have some sort of weird reaction where they start sweating uncontrollably and I feel the urge to cuddle with my dog and eat ice cream

It did say "the original Martian" first.
@@jason-pl1vf bitter betty
You sound little insane for not thinking Dog being abandoned when it never abandon fry being saddest. I mean honestly.
"but it was my life" still hits so hard
The ending of Jurassic Bark brings me to tears every single time.
It might be the saddest part of the show.
I have many dogs who are family to me I pretty much skip that episode every time I rewatch Futurama lol.

I think the one scene that hit me the hardest was Seymour actually took them to where Fry was and they kinda ignored him.
Kinda?

@@SolaceMcfly While I respect your method of speech, "Kinda" is a far understatement.

All these moments are very sad. One of the reasons Futurama's such a great show.

@@StrangerForever85 oh yes! Though I’d say that one’s more heartwarming than depressing.

I really hope the new Futurama seasons live up to the previous seasons in stories like this.
And this is just some examples why I trump Futurama over The Simpsons. I never cried at the Simpsons. Fry's mum smiling at the photo of Fry destroyed me.
Futurama had consistently good content. The Simpsons just needs to stop. It's been pretty bad for about 20 years.
How you never cried over the simpsons????
Watch the "do it for her" episode, its heartbreaking
Nail on the head.
The episode with the bees, that ending always gets me!
The one with is mom messed me up. Big baby tears 🥺

Seymore is definitely the saddest one with a distant second for several of the Fry/Leela moments.
I can't tell if Seymore's death getting reconed was a good or a bad thing.
5:26 Fry! My hair’s caught in the door!!
Fry inside his mom's dream always gets me.
Probably would’ve included the end of Luck of the Fryish.
Man, this video really made my allergies act up. 😢
Damn it, you had to end on the Jurassic Bark ending 😭
i dont think I'm emotionally ready for this 😟😢
Seymore 😥😢😭

Definitely frys dog is the most upsetting
Can't watch this. BTW if you don't cry at Jurassic Bark you have no heart.
Hello depression. Nice to see you again.

the ending of game of tones is sadder than the entirety of jurassic bark
