I have pallets of rocks I've found on my property. I live near Tombstone. I bought a cheap tile saw. My wife says I am the only grown man she knows who always has rocks in his pockets.
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: You're in some of my old digs. I forgot what a beautiful and majestic environment exists in that location. Feels wonderful to recall the experiences! Bless you! Safe journeys!
I went to Arizona six years ago but wasn’t into rockhounding then. This video (and the previous one) make me want to go back JUST to rockhound! 😅 These are amazing finds!
I can not thank you enough for your videos. I am 53 and not sure I’ll ever be able to spot great finds. Great meaning what geologist and experienced rock hounds search for and gather. I’ve always loved rocks normally due to shape. I never realized how beautiful they can be on the inside. Your channel is bar far my favorite along with two other Channels. No fake skits just like educational and love for rocks. Thank you. So glad you loved Arizona rocks. Hopefully you can come more often. It helps me so much to find nice rocks here in Arizona.
Great finds! My sister and I went out to Arizona a few years ago and I found the most amazing agates in the desert. Just beautiful specimens everywhere you look. Can’t wait to see your next vids when you cut some of these beauties.
My 7 year old grandson wants to be a geologist when he gets older. He picks up rocks wherever he goes. He loves your channel. Thx. From north Phoenix area.
Great finds! I was just in Arizona a couple of weeks ago. Did some hounding north of Sedona near Gray Mountain. Found some agate, jasper, petrifiedwood but strangest of all was a small cowrie shell. It's a bit weathered. I'd like to think it got there by Native Americans trading.
Arizona! I love the deserts, canyons, mountains. The Grand Canyon, Tucson, Flagstaff, Sedona, the Vermilion Cliffs. Such variety. I’m glad you had such a great trip.
Oh my goodness! What a haul of beautiful rocks! I'm ready to see the insides of those nodules! I'm sure it was great to get out of the snow for a while! 😊
Just came back this spring...live in the desert during winter...Quartzsite. Now waiting for Michigan weather to agree it's spring. So many rocks so little time.
😮Wow! I ❤love all your finds. I was surprised how fast you had your frist few, some day I'll get out and about and some good one's. I really love all those water lines and bands as well. You had some great ones. Thumbs-up 😅👍 it was a awesome day out.
Stunning finds!! The colors are impressive! The iron stained quartz could be tangerine quartz! Can't wait for the cutting videos to start rolling out! Still jelly😁🧡
love the video of your desert adventure. The music is great too. Some agates look like blue lace agate and those crazy looking nodules. What's not to love? Thanks
I'm in north AJ, AZ, foothills of the Usery Mt. In my yard, I'm finding exactly what you're finding, much of which I wasn't sure if they were agates until your Arizona series. I'm anxious to see what you do with each type because I don't know what should be cut or tumbled... or will it be sandstone, ☹️ Thank you.
Volcanoes all over Az I use to work crop dusting had to fly once in awhile seen them all over! Being from Hawaii I’m used to cones and lava flow spreads!
Great video! I'm actually heading out there for the first time in a few days. I have a feeling it's going to be a 50# haul bringing back home, like the first time I went to MN. 😆
Awesome video as usual. I love rock hounding my home state. You need to come up to the high country in Arizona. Rock hounding in the line trees in the rivers and creeks is amazing too
I find jasper, agate, and so much. I can't identify. I live along the New River Trail. In Peoria, AZ. My backyard is a Rockhounding heaven lol Enjoy your videos. Keep Shining like a Crystal!!!
Welcome to AZ!!☀️🌵🪨 Wish I knew you were here! I have TONS of what you’ve found. They’re a bear to clean tho!🤪 I have NO IDEA how to cut most of them. Finishing vid now…👌🏼👌🏼
Dang! Amazing finds. I have lived in Az my whole life. WHERE YOU GUYS AT lol I would love to know! But I am glad you came to the desert 🌵 and found some beauties to take home with ya. Again! 😊👍
Beautiful area, but also mysteriously dangerous. Several people have disappeared, and skeletal remains have been uncovered. My sibling suffered nearly fatal injuries after crashing in a wash in that exact location. There are quite a bit of ancient native foot paths out there too...( Maybe the area has some suffering souls lingering around.) Very nice area, just be cautious, and don't wander at night.(lots of coyotes and wild dogs) I ran into some Mountain Lion dens myself... It's one of the few areas left where they can roam free and unbothered.
Hi I just found your video. I have a rock question. My husband was picking up nails and screws with a magnet and a rock stuck to the magnet my rock app says it’s quartz but quartz isn’t magnetic have you come across any magnetic rocks?
The hole 🕳️ you pointed out was a rattle snake 🐍 den and during this time of the year they hibernate because the weather is not hot enough for them to be outside.
I know there are some that absolutely will not give out their specific hounding area, but how about at least a general location??? Sharing is caring - especially when there is so much available. I share locations whenever anyone asks, love to help other rock hounders find goodies to take home 😃
Hey everyone! 👋 I live in Phoenix and accidentally stumbled onto rockhounding by accident but am really curious!!!.... Sooo I was wondering, what do you guy's do with all your cool finds??? 🤔
My son just moved from the Sierra Vista area. He brought me some big nodules. We have some cool crystals here in Tennessee. I want to cut come of mine open.
Where abouts is this at? Woupd love to tqke a trip up with my neices and nephew. We could use alittle cheering up, after my mom unexpectantly passed away.
Even just giving the general area wouldn't be specific enough to do your contact harm. What's the sense in sharing what you found if no one else can enjoy findling some like you? Rock hounders are a sharing community, usually.
Thanks for watching! Help support our channel by subscribing and liking this video ❤
Awesome finds!! I used to go rock& crystal hunting once a week in the kettles of WI.. It would be sweet to go in a different state..😃
What do you use to clean them with??😅😅
I have pallets of rocks I've found on my property. I live near Tombstone. I bought a cheap tile saw. My wife says I am the only grown man she knows who always has rocks in his pockets.
You're definitely not alone by filling pockets, or bag or bucket with rocks!!!

Lived in AZ my entire life. We kinda forget to appreciate stuff like this because it's everywhere here.
Awesome finds! I’m here in Arizona and love finding all those wonderful treasures !!! Beautiful
Awesome!

Arizona was once the ocean floor! Lots of shells in Yuma!
Nice material, I look forward to you cutting, greetings from the Czech Republic ✌
🤘🤘
I’d need barrels, not buckets lol 😂!! This looks like heaven, and so exciting ❤. You found so many cool things.
Those are very beautiful ❤ thanks for sharing!

Just came back this spring...live in the desert during winter...Quartzsite. Now waiting for Michigan weather to agree it's spring. So many rocks so little time.

The first few veins look almost exactly like what I find in the ditches near my property!!! It's all quartz however. But still beautiful ❤️

A bucket of blue!
Where or what part of Arizona can you find areas like this
What fun!! Beautiful rocks! How did you get them home? Carry on or checked baggage? I really enjoyed the music you chose too.
Good stuff. See any snakes, scorpions or tarantulas?
Nope!
Tonight i will dream of the Apache Tear i found walking around the desert as a child
I wish Ohio had cool stuff like this
Amazing haul Arizona have the best agates I think love them thanks for sharing Arizona is on my bucket list to go to
Gotta do it!

Troy has a good eye!
He does!
Looks like you found just about everything, and the great thing no snakes. Did you find any scoria?
Scoria?
@@AgateDad It is common in volcanic areas, high in iron hence the word scoria Greek for rust.
Hey everyone! 👋
I live in Phoenix and accidentally stumbled onto rockhounding by accident but am really curious!!!....

I would be I so much trouble. I would have to drive so I could carry all my buckets of rocks!!!
My son just moved from the Sierra Vista area. He brought me some big nodules. We have some cool crystals here in Tennessee. I want to cut come of mine open.
Maybe I missed it, but did you give a general location? I'm in AZ and I think my kids might enjoy hunting some cool blue banded rocks.
Any exact spots to check?? Driving here sunday
I want to go to there
Where are you in AZ?!?? I need flat places to go in AZ now, that I'm older and can't climb!
Where at in Arizona did you find these?
Did you ever post a video cutting or polishing any of these finds?
Yes
Will you make a video cutting open the Arizona agates?
You bet I will!
Now there are snakes You're brave
Where abouts is this at? Woupd love to tqke a trip up with my neices and nephew. We could use alittle cheering up, after my mom unexpectantly passed away.
Where in AZ?

What are the purple and blue rocks?
What’s the blue stuff? Quartz? Arizona is like the moon man.
Where in Arizona was this?
Found alot of blue agates while hunting White Mountains. Where are you hunting?
That’s aweosme!
Was this on Public land or private? If public, can you share the location? I would love to make it out there.
It was public, out of respect for the guy who shared it with me I told him I’d keep it private on my end.
@@AgateDad I get that. I will do my research and see if I can find some cool agates. I live here so I got some time 😅

hope you two were careful to not walk into a rattler. Or are the snakes still in brumation?
I didn’t see any
Beautiful! Your luggage on your trip home must weigh 100 pounds 😊
It was a lot 😂
Where is this hunt?
Had fun. What town did you stay in?
Mesa
@@AgateDad thank you
Where is this
Are you planning on tumbling some of these?
I live in Tucson Arizona where was this location at
Near Phoenix
I wonder if any of the crystals are fluorescent
Some are a little
The rock with three nodules sort of looks like a joint of a bone!?
Right?!
Where is this at out in Phoenix Arizona
Yes
@@AgateDad what I'm asking is what area in Phoenix I have family that live out there
