Sorry, correction! Sydnie Christmas' Audition song was "Tomorrow" and her final performance "Somewhere over the rainbow". So proud of her for winning BGT 2024!!

Ya, I was about to type that it was Tomorrow, and it was a different song. By the way, this is Loren Allred's version she sung on the AGT Legendary Series and Loren gave her permission to use it as her Finals song.
Her voice is so angelic! Listen to this with noise cancelling headphones and close your eyes.. you’ll thank me!
A lot of people saying she shouldn’t have won because she’s already a professional singer. Let’s face it, there’s a lot of people out there who’d never heard of her,including myself . And if she’s such a professional why does she need to work at a gym? Yes she’s performed but why wouldn’t you seek to take yourself to the next level and making yourself known. In this case the level is stratospheric. Well deserved
Agreed! The criticism is total BS. Many contestants on the Got Talent had years of live performance experience. For instance, Ventriloquist Terry Fator, before winning AGT2, was an opening act for Garth Brooks and Reba McIntire. Olate Dogs, a fan favorite and winner of AGT7, performed in circuses and TV shows worldwide before their stint on AGT. Shin Lim, the winner of AGT13 and AGT: Champions, competed in many worldwide magic shows and fooled Penn and Teller on their show before appearing on AGT. Sydnie deserves all the best!!!

Just a stellar performance by Sydnie, so imaginative, and so beautiful, for the final.
The Royal Variety Performance, in November each year in London, is attended by the King and features about 20 acts of all the best artists in the UK of that year, and certain famous artists from around the world. After the concert, the King goes behind the curtain and greets each artist personally, as they all come on stage after the closing act, to take a bow, too.
I'm sure a recording deal will find Sydnie very soon, if not by Simon himself. Sydnie did say just now that she has to go back to the gym today, as she didn't get paid for her two weeks off work, and the prize money will help her pay her rent, too. Such an English darling she is.

Loved your 3 reaction videos to Sydnie Christmas, they are the best one's I've seen.She is the best singer we have EVER seen on BGT. Her style of singing ( musical theatre, same as my daughter does) makes it really, really emotional and moving when she performs. All of your comments and reactions are 100% spot on. As you already corrected, she sang Tomorrow from Annie in her first audition, but the “story package” backing music was Loren Allred’s version of “Over the Rainbow” and she is singing Loren’s version here with her own Christmas decorations thrown in. Sydnie told a morning talk show the following morning she got a lovely video message of support from Loren following her performance.

This arrangement was made by Loren Allred in a performance by Loren 4 months ago when she was on AGT Fantasy League.
Sydnie’s version is 99% from Loren.
Since she had only 3 days between the semifinal and the finals, BGT suggested she sing Loren’s version. Sydnie initially said no because Loren is her idol, but Loren not only approved it but also sent Sydnie a video of support.
And after Sydnie won, Loren offered to do a duet with her. 2 classy ladies.

I just found out that Loren Allred will be performing with Andrea Bocelli (again) in London in early July. Would be great if she gets together with Sydnie while she’s there.
I think the confusion comes in because they used Lauren Allred's version of Over the Rainbow as background music for the ending of Sydnie's audition of Tomorrow
I really hope she does a Christmas album.
*She didn't want to do the song because Loren Allred, who she loves, did a fabulous version....but Loren video messaged her to go do it. And this is what we got in the final and her to become BGT winner*
Have you seen 11 year old Olivia Lynes on BGT. In her Audition she sange 'Defying Gravity'. Her second song was 'Into the Unknown'. She had a sore throat in her third song 'Let It Go'.
It isn't the same song. She sang Tomorrow from Annie the first round.
Her audition was Tomorrow, not Over the Rainbow.

That event is extraordinarily special, attended by the King, as well: the Royal Variety Performance, which is televised.
