- Peaky senior hit Derry for the uefa europa conference league 1st round qualifier match between Derry City & FC Riga of Latvia.
A trip to the oakgrove bar, a chat with @FootyAdventures, drums and chanting were the highlights.

Having seen footage of the incident I still can’t work out how the ref came to that decision. The Riga player pushed smith first, smith reacted with a push and they both grabbed each other’s face, smith gave another wee push.
Ref was brutal but so were Derry.
Nice to see Footy Adventures meeting up with you, pointed him to your channel a few weeks ago on his Dublin Stadiums visit

Great vlog as always Niall. You are going to get a shock in the next few weeks going back to the Irish League when a lot of people don't come out to support their local team and the attendances are half of what it has been at Derry City, down at Shamrock or even at the GAA. Plus, a lot less of a rowdy atmosphere at most grounds. Bad result for Derry last night and it will be an uphill job next week for them but hopefully Larne do the business next week; I'll be disappointed if we don't, especially after Tuesday.

Great atmosphere last night, think they just had 2/3 better players than us that made the difference.... Not to mention smith getting send off by acting out unnecessarily ruined our chances in the tie 🤨🤨

He struggles playing as a lone striker, his game is running in behind, never looks comfortable linking play. Derry need a hold up player in the mould of Rory Gaffney.
Wasnt to bothered when he left coleraine scored the odd wonder goal but never tracked back wen he lost ball got lazy and aye ur rite as a lone striker u need to be able to hold ball up he cant do that he likes ball over top teams have caught on to it so play deeper
The season when McAree was in charge no one was too hot. I’d argue that last season we could have done with a mcgonigle but from watching Derry I think there is too much expected from him at the minute and he is suffering.

Derry had loads of set piece chances, at that level you need an extra bit of quality.

@@ThePeakys Your welcome 👍🏻 Strange that isn't it, maybe should be Peaky Sports Channel, as dosent really represent The Bannsiders all that much to be fair, and am sure as you say "Coleraine Folk" seem be only ones with the issue, maybe just dosent represent them or the Bannsiders, quite a decieving name. Good sports channel covering all sport on the whole island of Ireland, all the same. Just don't think there's much Coleraine / Bannsiders related stuff in your videos. Just my opinion offcourse #BAWA 😁💙🤍

I do agree with you for what it’s worth that perhaps the name isn’t quite accurate as I/we do go to other games but it’s sort of stuck and everywhere I/we go the people refer to us as the Peaky Bannsiders. Every Derry fan who knows us calls me Peaky Bannsider, going down to Dublin, Rovers fans do the same.
Even at the Gaelic football.
So everyone knows that first and foremost we are Coleraine fans. Quite a lot have said they will follow our results this season. A few Derry fans intend on coming down this season too so it does have positives for Coleraine.
In essence I am representing us across the whole island and in different leagues and sports and ages and levels.
Not intentional but a great positive for Coleraine Fc.
