You can see that this guys heart is pure of gold and a crazy will to achieve his dreams. Also, people misunderstand his win against Thompson which showed his growth in becoming more patient and not putting himself in dangerous positions. Good luck Durinho!!
he just fights too emotional tho which is why im worried for him in this fight. Dudes like Khamzat and Colby will always be bad matchups for him because of that, and Usman was too since they were former teammates

Gilbert is such a likeable guy. All the best man. I hope it’s a fantastic fight and he gets to really test Khamzat. But I feel the size advantage might be too much on the night for Gilbert. Credit to him for taking the fight through. Much respect from the UK. 🇬🇧

I honestly don't know who to root for more with this fight. What made me love Gilbert was that moment at the end of his fight with Usman when there was that emotional embraced. That was just pure brotherly love between two great men. I love Gilberts character, his personality, his work ethic and his humility. I honestly wish him the best. It will be a great fight amongst two of the top guys in the world.
Khamzat has the hype but i'm not sure with Ramadan whether it will have an effect on his performance on the night. It's probably why Khabib didn't fight during the month.
Insha Allah all the best for both! I wouldn't be upset if it was a 50/50 draw.
Khamzat is liberal, doesn't pray do Ramadan, and visites prostitutes, have seen the press, he literally cursed the f word on burns.

i like khamzat but i think people will be surprised on saturday, during is a tough fight for any1 on the division, hes only lost to the champ recently and u could argue that he was on his way of winning the fight before getting too excited, if he got that mental part settled its gonna be a good fight

Honestly, I have to admit. Gilbert seems to be a really great person and a great fighter but, more importantly he's a great man, father,husband. This is by far the best interview/pre fight episode I've ever seen over all. That's very impressive because I'm Extremely OCD/Very Picky about pretty much every aspect in life and this honestly brought a whole new level/perception of the humanity of the man and not just the fighter. I wish Gilbert and the people that filmed and put out this amazing piece of work.

I've been dwelling on this match all week. I think it's important to remind people that Gilbert is a world champion in jiu-jitsu, and he has exceptional takedown defense. He actually stuffed an attempt from Usman. We can't base Khamzats grappling/wrestling off what we have already seen. Gilbert also has power in both hands and is no slouch on the feet. Khamzat is very talented but somewhat still a mystery to me. I bet the house that Khamzat can't rag doll Gilbert. I think khamzat definitely could win but in my head Gilbert has more tools. I'm still undecided on who I'm picking but I'm leaning to Gilbert.
