Fantastic!!! Genius !!! I can flood a cookie but not great at writing!!!
Thanks for sharing such a great idea
+Lisa Gooden You’re welcome!!
Hi. I just rewatched this tutorial (glad I did 😊); may I ask what type of paper it is that you used and where I can purchase?
Please & thank you, again. 😊
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to ask a question! The “paper” is an icing sheet. These are the ones I buy. amzn.to/48taDl9
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! Do you use wafer paper or frosting sheets? Also, did you use a cutting machine to cut out the images?
I used frosting sheets and my silhouette cameo
@@sugarbeezllc Thank you.
How do the images get cut on the printed sheet? Did you print it and then run it through a cricut?
Hi Donna, yes, that is exactly how I did it. I printed them than ran them through my Silhouette Portrait. Such a time saver!
I currently use icing and always need to add a border because the images lift on the edges. Do you have lifting issues with the piping gel?
Yes, I did have issues with lifting occasionally, and then I would use a border to keep them down.
Does the piping gel that's showing dry clear? I tried using Karo syrup and any syrup that "oozed" out showed on the cookie.
Hi Denise, if it’s oozing out, you’re putting on too much. I use a clean paint brush or sponge brush to spread the karo syrup or piping gel on the back of the edible paper. You want it to be a very thin layer so that it doesn’t ooze out.
If it does ooze out, wipe it away immediately using a clean dry finger using care not to touch the printed areas so you don’t smear the ink.
I hope this helps!!
How did you get your custom cookies done?
Tenise Naidoo I made the cookies myself with a cookie cutter that I made using my Silhouette Alta 3D printer.
Do the edible images last ok on a cookie for a few days? And have you ever tried freezing them? Thank you!
They do great for about a week, that’s as long as I have kept one before it was eaten. I have not ever frozen them. If you try freezing them, let us know how it goes!
Hi. I just came across this tutorial and was wondering if you could tell me how you cut the images? Please & thank you. 😊
Hi! I used a silhouette Cameo to cut the edible paper I had printed (with a food safe printer) on edible paper from Amazon

@@sugarbeezllc thank you so much. 😊
Is there a reason you don’t place the piping gel on the cookie and then add image directly to cookie?
How does the icing sheet taste? or do you peel the words off?
It is a little sweet, but it's flavor is overshadowed by the icing that it is placed on. Some people remove the sheet before eating, some eat the cookie with the sheet on it. It's personal preference. But I have never had anyone complain about the taste.
@@sugarbeezllc Thank you so much for all your help
Can I use icing instead piping gel?
franciris garcia You can certainly try, but it doesn’t stick as well and if you thin it too much it makes the paper too wet. You can use corn syrup if you do not or cannot get piping gel.
Hi, where do you get the edible images? Thanks
Hi Veronica, I buy my supplies from www.icingimages.com. I print my images on their icing sheets.
@@sugarbeezllc thank you 💞
May i use edible glue?
Absolutely!!
Are you using icing paper or wafer paper.
It’s icing sheets. I get mine from Icing Images.
@@sugarbeezllc Thank you. That is what I’m using too. I will get some of your piping gel too
@@pamgrenier8311 The piping gel was a game changer for me! I tried water, and royal icing before that with not the best results.
@@sugarbeezllc Thank you so much. I've ordered some and it will arrive today. The other brand I used did what you said in your video. The image stuck to the wrapping.
Do you print your own edible images?
Yes, I print my own edible images.
Do you sell the images? Ship?
Hi
