I bought the Crown Limited 5000 miles ago and I love it! My color is magnetic gray metallic with black leather interior and I prefer that to the two tone and the louder red and the jumbled white colors. Mine’s understated but I like that. I get about 46mpg which is great. I live in suburban Chicago so my travel is local plus interstate to Detroit and Milwaukee. My only concern is with the multi information display which can be confusing and sometimes it has a mind of its own. Actually my bigger problem is with the translation of the owners manual. Sometimes the verbs come at the end of the sentence…
Anyway I love the design and so do the young guys at the dealership. From the side it has a crouching tiger look and I love the front look which is way way better than the huge spool front end of the lexus line.
Lastly, its sporty enough for the typical buyer. Even in Eco mode you can floor it if you need to. Normal mode is quicker than any suv I have owned and Sport mode really flys. Also the added 4 inch interior height is perfect for an aging America.

The Crown Sport is beautifully sculpted, I'd take one in the copper color with the brown leather interior if they bring them to the US. I've been poking around for the past couple years looking at new cars but don't really NEED one. The Crown Sport would make me jump, so long as the price is right and the dealers don't mark it up deep into Lexus territory! i think they could release the crown lineup in america as another sub brand if they wanted to, the base price of a crown is higher than a normal toyota fully specced, but a fully specced crown is still less than a fully specced lexus, it fits nicely inbetween like how GM has GMC and Buick in between Chevy and Cadillac

Given the choice (and budget), I'd go for the wagon every time, but even that seems rather over-styled and lacking in space and practicality. For similar money, a Limited trim RAV4 or Venza would do a better job. Dealers around here have a lot of Crown sedans in stock, but I still haven't seen one on the road. Too weird for the retiree demographic, too impractical for families... the Crown's purpose remains a mystery.

Who in their right mind is even buying a crown XLE over an accord EX-L/ Sport-L? It’s like 6-7k more for not much more car, sure AWD but do you really need E-AWD vs what the accord offers? The crown is just a big head scratcher especially at its price point

Accord hybrid and Camry hybrid are great buys, but don't come close to the Crown's quality and materials. As much as the Crown's design is strange, I'd take it over the bland Accord.

The accords better quality than the crown. Behind the wheel it’s far from boring because it’s a Honda. They drive better than anything it competes with. It drives as if bmw or Porsche engineered the car

I own a 2018 honda accord EX Hybrid which I bought new and now it has almost 293,000 miles. Excellent car, didn’t give me any problems. I test drove a new 23 accord and overall it drives nicer but tuned a lot less sporty now. Sporty handling is pretty much done now.
I also test drove a new Crown and have decided it to be my accord replacement. It is MUCH MUCH quieter on the highway, has a more premium feel and AWD is a must for me. I drive up to 300 miles per day sometimes and got sick and tired of borrowing my mom’s SUV anytime it snows over 3 inches so I can get up the hills, and it happens often here in New England.

this car sucks, the backseat is garbage. super short thigh support and a weird angle to boot. The base engine is mind numbing, it has garbage ground clearance and a trunk when they could have had a super practical hatchback. To finish it off its expensive. HUGE PASS from me.

Hilarious - The Crown the Clown that nobody wants around. One of Toyota's worst vehicles just like the Avalon. The old Japanese Crown is much better. Not sure who wants this piece of garbage.
