Since when were people filming on digital medium format? And how comes no one has spoken about this!

It wasn't anything amazing output wise. Yes it was "medium format". (Like x0.4 of real 645 film size but still the same kind of jump you would have from aps-c to fullframe) but it was like shooting with a 5d mark 2. Low bitrate for the actual amount of data, etc.

Hi Alan. Hasselblad was the first to put raw video into a medium format camera back in 2016 with this H6D-100C. Already 3 years ago. Time flies...
I have been filming on this PLATON system for about a year now, and can say that it is finally ready for some serious CM and movie applications, which I have already used it for :)

this is like magic lantern for fashion photographers! but i must ask - what is with the rainbow halo'ing effect? on CZcams it isn't looking as cool as i hoped, nevertheless i am optimistic. but like magic lantern, i guess it's keep going!! go alpa!

Hi. That is the full frame lens used and its image circle not being quite big enough for the massive sensor causing a vignette which was an intended effect for that shoot. Pop over to my channel for footage shot on various medium format lenses.

Not poor at all and not (That) old. Regarding the Apple-box, it's a different story....

Most people need platform shoes or an Apple box next to me here in Japan, so no fault of Johnnie ;)
