Amazing videos. I really enjoy this. I don't want to tell you how to do things, but some tapcons on that back wall to put up some floating shelves to get everything off the floor would probably make the cleanup of the dirt ffrom the back of the room easier--that part looks like a pain the ass.

You should try putting a plastic grating like they have as walkways in public baths underneath the carpet when you rinse it. That way the dirt you flush out has somewhere to go other than back into another part of the carpet.
