Luvin that pantry! I just noticed in the background you painted the window frames white. I love them now! I like the stained wood in the kitchen to break-up all the white, but in the living room & dining room I prefer the white trim with your decorating style. I've been following you for 18 months and watched you redo every room in your home. I love your house. We all think we need more, more, more. But you've made your small home gorgeous and it seems extremely livable for 3 people and a hundred fur kids. I'm divorced with 1 son at home and I'm learning to live with less & downsizing. Your home is the perfect example of how to make a lovely home on a budget. Lastly, I really prefer the living rm without the coffee table. Room looks open & inviting now. 😊

Your pantry is stunning. Please don’t apologize for stocking up. If anything I think you need a lot more back stock. The size of the pantry can definitely hold a lot more. Food prices aren’t going to be going down any time soon if ever.

The closest roller coaster park to me is Kings Island. I’m sure owned by the same company that owns Kings Mill. Whenever I go I have to go on “The Beast”! It is the longest wooden roller coaster. Watching you all have fun makes me want to go 😃

Fun family times! I love seeing that you and your family do things together,it’s very refreshing to see. Yes I do think it’s a good idea to stock up a pantry. It’s just me and my husband , but I like to have extras in the pantry and freezer. Maybe not all for us, but if my neighbors or other family needs something. To save space in my freezer, I buy ground beef in 6 pound packages and divide it. I then put it into a large zip lock bag and use a rolling pin to flatten it. I label it and then I stack it flat in my freezer. It only takes about 15 minutes to thaw on the counter top when I am ready to cook. I have been freezing soups and stews as well. Did you know pasta lasts for years if placed in a air tight, waterproof container? I use large Mason jars to store all my pasta. Well this is getting lengthy. God bless you and yours. 🌸So happy for you that you have a pantry that added more storage that you were wanting. I bet that was fun to fill up the containers. 🌸 I just did foil around the top of the bananas that I recently bought and they actually lasted longer than when I did plastic wrap.🌸

You have your lovely pantry, now you need a freezer. When you take out your old cabinet in the laundry room, maybe a freezer would fit in there.
SO good to see you buying lots of organic veggies and fruit- if more people buy organic, the companies will listen to what the consumers want and make it more available and economical

Foil around the stem of bananas. I also wrap foil around celery. It keeps it fresh much longer and doesn't go limp so fast. Those air tight cannisters are so nice for cereal etc. So much more space instead of a box taking up room. The pantry looks so convenient! 👌

Thank you for showing your stock pile for your pantry. I am feeling the need to do the same. You guys are troopers to go to the park in this heat. We live on the east coast and we have been having the heat and storms here too. Amusement parks were always a favorite with our kids. Water Country in Williamsburg was our all time fav.

Thanks for the inspiration to clean out my fridge. I love your pantry. I dont have one, but need to at least buy a shelf for the garage to keep surplus. All these chores to do, helps to know we all have the same challenges...we are not alone!

I started separating my ground meats to freeze, then flattened it and it is great it defrosts quickly and saves so much freezer space !! Love the pantry and your fur babies ❤️ my cat greets me when I come in with bags also ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌻🐝🥵🙏🙏

The easiest way to stock up on things you already use is to buy the sale. Make your grocery list and if the items you are using are on sale buy the sale. If pasta is 4/$5 buy all 4. If canned beans are 10/$6 buy them all. Your already buying it so you know your going to use it. Also if you have bulk stores look there. My coconut milk is always cheaper at Sam’s club even when it’s on sale at my grocery store.

Great video! Love seeing your fur babies. Sams has the blue ocean beads bigger bottles on sale right now I usually stock up when they do. Also, have you ever tried putting your ground beef in freezer storage bags and then flattening the out with a rolling pin hack? I was surprized but it really saves freezer space. Love your beautiful new spacious pantry too!.🥰
I made a homemade taco seasoning mix and put in a large mason jar , because I was buying packets all the time . It last a long time and better than the packets :)

As I have previously stated. Your Pantry is absolutely Beautiful! You are making a great decision regarding stocking up Your Pantry. If You purchase the Non perishable Sale items on a Weekly basis, Your Pantry will very quickly become Cheaply Stocked. While the Scripture tell Us not to Worry. Nowhere does it say not to be prepared.

I did acrylic nails for 7 or 8 years. Having to return to the salon every 2 weeks was a pain. Having had acrylics for so long, they didn't stay on.

Oh sweet Ollie! I laughed so hard and had to show my hubby what he did!!! Love it💕 I had my ct scan(abdomen and pelvis) and it came back normal. I may have to have more tests run to see why I keep having recurring UTI’S but I don’t know just yet. 💕Monica 😊

Hi Arika. I suggested this before but don't know if you saw it because I think there were already at least a couple hundred comments and you may have been away. (???) I'm so certain that I have a good suggestion that should be seriously considered ( 😀 ) that I'm back with it. 🤭 Don't put a door (new or otherwise) on your pantry. In fact, take it off, finish that opening with trim or drywall and just leave it as an open entrance. Your pantry is very organized and attractive. Why close it off? Especially if you're intending to put your microwave in there. When I think how much you (and any family member) uses a microwave, any door will be an unnecessary nuisance: open/close (the door)... open/close. I can practically guarantee that after a while, that door will be left open so why have it? I even suggested widening that opening if structurally possible to make the flow and continuum into the pantry more obvious.
We actually need a door to keep the furbabies out when we are not home. It would be a free for all if we didn’t have a door.🤣

Great video and loved all the pets during the grocery haul! Your acrylics should not be popping off after a week - I have them and mine last 3 weeks no problem! Maybe try another manicurist… they should be staying in longer (and I sometimes don’t wear gloves when doing dishes or chores).
Arika, have you tried nail polish strips? I use the ones from Lilly and Fox. They are $2.99 plus free shipping and they have many varieties. They will last a good two weeks on my nails if I keep a top coat on the free edge and around the cuticles. And they don't damage my nails. I have weak nails that peel and I can't keep polish on for more than a couple days. You should try them! 🙂
