correct me if I am wrong. June end is supposed to be peak season and hardly any traffic in your video even on a bright day. I am planning first week/weekend in June 2025. Would the traffic be similar and should I avoid weekends. I am from Australia and not too familiar driving on the opposite side. Hence the question.

      Thanks for your comment :)
Mid june to end of july is probably peak season - with a ton of campervans pretty much "everywhere", but mainly on the western part of Lofoten (near Å).
The roads on the western part are the one that is the most narrow.
You shouldn't worry about driving on the "wrong" side, since it seems many of the capervan-tourists don't know the difference between right or left - so beware of suddenly meeting someone cutting the corner in narrow turns with little to no visibility :/
Also so be aware of sudden changes in weather, and the sidewind (when weather is changing, specially) can be pretty nasty... I stopped 1/2 way to Henningsvær, cause I felt it was stright up dangerous to go there cause of the wind.
But Lofoten is a fantastic place - specially on two wheels! :D

@@JFK666666 Thanks JFK for the detailed insight. I am doing only short drives. Leknes (base) to Reine and Leknes to Svolvaer-an hour each way and in 4 wheels (I am in my late 60s) . From your response I should assume these two drives (under 60 minutes each way from base should pose no problem 1. Less traffic first week/weekend of June 2. Practically no narrow roads 3. Negligible sidewinds between Leknes-Reine-Svolvaer. 4. My route will be mostly on E10, if my research is correct??Thanks heaps for the great video and your response . Best regards. Sri
