I wish that the Muppets would appear on Drunk History either reenacting a historical event or having a drunk Muppet (Kermit most likely) narrate the story. Maybe have both.
Question is, are they puppets or animatronics? It would be sick if they were Animatronics, but likely there has to be a person controlling the puppets, so that the live actors can say there lines without fear of being in the wrong cue or anything like that.

However, the puppeteers are not the ones saying the lines, and there are no live actors providing the voices of the puppets. They got the official voice actors and performers for the Muppet characters to record the lines for Kermit, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, Fozzy, Sam, and the chickens.They then play the recording during the show, and the puppeteers have to match up to the audio. So it's actually the opposite of what you initially guessed: instead of live voice actors trying to sync their lines up with programmed animatronic lip movements, it's live puppeteers trying to match up with pre-recorded audio. JJ is the obvious exception, as he uses a microphone with his own voice. He just delivers his lines during the pauses in the muppet dialogue.

Yes, it was. They had the 3 Crossed out on the attraction signage and a four handwritten to the sign. This was part of the original branding, and it hasn't changed.
Why did Disney get rid of this show? Was it Paychecks idea? The Muppets need another ride at Hollywood Studios, sea world has sesame place and Universal studios Florida has Dream Works land.
