hey ashley, don't know if youll read this as i see this video was posted 2 days ago, but thought it might intrigue you to let you know I went on a missions trip to paris for a semi-long term trip of 7 weeks. the culture is wonderful but for women it is rough. i feel like its this way universally. and despite their catholic roots only 2% of the entire nation are christian. The majority are atheist, and God is very outside of their daily lives and functions. christianity is not integrated like it is in america, including in their governmental politics. i had countless conversations with parisian students on their college campuses. They are very open to discussing spirituality. We need more laborers reaching these people. Can you imagine only 2% being Christian.. even though it was raining all the time it felt like such a desert because of how spiritually dried up it was. that was the same year notre dame went up in flames, and the timing of that was also very strange considering that missions trip. It was also like an epicenter to reach the world, because muslim students and other students from different countries attended paris universites, and we talked to many of those students too. i know paris is fun to go to, but man do we need to pray for these people to be reached more than ever. anyways to anyone reading this consider praying for the people of paris. i went on a family vacay 2 weeks after my missions trip to both london and paris like you, so we also made that same commute you did. however my family vacay did not go well, so we were all having a crisis in the most beautiful city, was odd! anyways glad you had a good time on your family vacation ashley†their food and fashion sense really is like no other, and we can learn so much goodness from their culture and do our best to integrate some of their values to our american ways đč I could go on about all the differences and things I wish I could live out here in the U.S. like how I could over there. not everyone will have a taste of their amazing breads and you are very lucky to have eaten that with your family
But we are not going through that would mean đ and kamar are not have a single account in my eyes which are welcome and we have had time đ for your time and hope your well deserved
