- Last year, Ubisoft released its latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed series with Mirage which had taken the series back to its 2007 roots with more of an emphasis on stealth as opposed to the more recent RPG-inspired games with huge open worlds. Already available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, PC via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store, and Luna. the well-received RPG is now available to the iPhone 15 Pro, iPad Air and iPad Pro.
To play the game on an Apple device is required is an Apple product that is at least the Apple A17 Pro (iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max) or has Apple M1 or faster.
Coming in at around 3.8GB, it will be quite a hefty download but considerably smaller than its console counterpart. Ubisoft promises “breathtaking graphics” and controls that have been optimised for touch screens.
The iPhone version features cross-save which wiil allow you to switch between devices and not lose any progress.

Issue is, AC3 and Blag Flag are dramatically larger than this game. Bigger map, And the Addition of Water based events too. While it would be cool, I doubt as many phones could run it as you’d hope.

Triple A used to be games from major publishers that had way more quality than double A games, this was GTA, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry back in the day, but the quality of games has decreased by a lot and now the internet is divided between 2 definitions of triple A games:
1. Games produced by major publishers.
2. Games having triple A quality.
Mirage certainly doesn't fall in the latter so it's just triple A cuz corporate decides it is.

I don´t use iPhone so no bitching about fanboyness. The thing that ppl forget about this is that the Iphone's only power source is actually the battery and the wattage it can deliver, besides from PS5 having a whole built-in power supply that definitely delivers more energy.
If you ever used a gaming laptop should completely acknowledge the difference in performance with and without the AC plugged in.
Incredible development of technologies, Apple and Ubisoft.

Mobile SoC are optimised for efficiency even most of the powerful SoC don't draw more than 10 watts. What do you think a battery can charge at 200w but won't be able to deliver more than 10 watts. The bottlenecking comes from its heating. There is no place to dissipate the i.e. 100w heat in this tiny mobile

Nope.. the ps5 is capable of doing more processing including High dynamic range and better lighting effect.. if they didn't remove it to the ios version, the FPS on iphone would drop significantly..

They have to make the mobile version brighter because if it has the same exposure, the mobile would look so dark that when you enter a house you almost see nothing.. That's why they have to make it brighter..
Different on the ps5, because ps5 can have high dynamic range, and probably have global illumination that can realistically know how to reflect light. That's why the ps5 version didn't have that over-exposed light, and still looks bright inside a building..

I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima with FSR 3.1 on Steam Deck and it pretty much runs at 30-40fps on HIGH. Throw in software raytracing and you can probably scrape Hellblade 2 levels of graphics.. and yes I know Steam Deck is X86. Switch 2 should be like getting a Steam Deck, but with much more expensive games

@@riojay1739 I tried them side by side and it looks better on the iPhone and my theory is that since the iPhone display is smaller it gives you the illusion that it is sharper , also the fact that my TV is not OLED and the iPhone screen is.

Well they should release for Android as well. The top snapdragon processors can handle it if apple's bionic chips are handling it. I think these are upscaled, the hardware might be comparable to ps3 or near ps4 but it still will under perform cause of the heat. 1. The game is upscaled. 2. The game itself isn't a graphical jump, rdr2 is batter than ac mirage in terms of graphics, 3. The hardware could be good but it cant perform to its peak as there is no heat sync, fans and space for airflow. But it still a wonderful achievement.
Apple paid for the port. It's heavily unlikely that will happen

It's impressive, sure, but for the same price you could get a good gaming PC / a PS5 AND a Steam Deck for portability AND an Android phone or even an older iPhone (iPhone 12 for example), so you could enjoy high fidelity gaming that isn't 360p at 30fps, you could play on the go using the Steam Deck, not having to carry around a controller all the time and you would still have a decent phone that could do most of the stuff the iPhone 15 can as well.
You could for example get the Nothing RMF phone, the Steam Deck OLED 512GB and a PS5 for almost the same price as the iPhone 15 Pro.

If I have to be honest, the iPhone 15 part feels like it's from a ps3. Knowing that the games are also being upscaled from an extremely low resolution just to reach the necessary FPS to even be playable, maybe it's even worse than a ps3.

Well the color look better for me, and the lack of fog makes a more realistic feel. What I mean by that is that every game now have to much volumetricfog. Im a 3D levelartist and graphics designer and I dont like the over washedout look of games because of it. And the stronger contrast of the iPhone is better
