I always think that Estepario's interpretations are what you get what you make the drummer the lead instrument. No overplaying, just a changing of the roles within the song. There are so many covers where, and yeah he's busy and showing off, but I find it actually far from overplaying. In fact, I recently heard the original Blinding Lights while waiting in the supermarket queue and was constantly annoyed because I expected some drumming that was a little more exciting, filling the beats in my mind. Recommendation would be his cover of Lindsay Stirling's Underground, which really enriches the original.
It’s not too low the whole point on a reaction video/commentary is for the viewer not to be able to hear my insights. I don’t do pausing as it ruins the flow and I tried it and people just switched off 🙂👌
He makes every song sound so much better. I don't ever want to hear the original again lol
