  • First time out on my Stark Varg Motocross bike with the wheels off my '24 FS450 for a SM conversion. I am a little slower on this compared to my 450. This accelerates better and pulls harder, but takes slightly more time to get it slowed down, (with the lack of real engine braking and bang'n down-shifts)...
Overall, a blast to ride !
    Good times !!

I love the sound of the Varg. Sounds like a space ship. Just took mine out for 90 minutes of intense single tracks for the first time. The bike left at 71%. I left at 0%. I god damn love this machine.

What did you go with for a front brake, stock Stark caliper and rotor, stock caliper on a 320mm bracket, or did you get a setup to shoehorn the FS's radial Brembo onto the Stark's forks?

I used the stock caliper (with an adapter/bracket, caliper hanger) and the rotor off of my '24 FS450 (which is 310mm) in this video. However, I am currently working on a set-up to adapt a Brembo radial caliper and a stronger master cylinder also... Just waiting on the parts.... Here is the radial mount bracket... mdcparts.com/products/ktm-axial-radial-adpter

But ended-up at 35%. That seems to work best overall...

try riding with regen turned completely OFF -
I Really like much better turned off - bike stays better balance controllable - easier to ride once use to it
